Magic Band Delivery time and other questions.

I usually plan ahead for our DVC trip but for this NY week I am not as organized. We have not been WDW home since 2010. We went to Disneyland last year.

I just ordered my Magic Bands today online but I forgot that we leave on Dec 21 celebrate Cmas with family. Will it come on time before the 21?

I had to wait for my last paycheck to purchase Disney gift cards from Target (no, I did not get the 20% off) that I plan to use to purchase DVC AP passes. Tomorrow I plan to purchase my DVC AP. I read in a different thread that I have to go thru DVC MS then Ticketing to use my 40 gift cards.

Will Ticketing give me the AP numbers that I need to link my bands? Or is it a voucher and not the AP ticket numbers that I enter on my bands?

When you customized your band there was a date you needed to do it by. Your bands will be shipped overnight the day after that. I check into AoA on the 1st and AKV on the 2nd. We have both sets of bands already.

I don't know anything about the GCs, but when you order the tickets get a will call number. Then link that number to your MDE account.

When does your trip start?

When you say you ordered them, do you mean you customized them? What date does it give you for the end of your customization time? That date is when it will be shipped, and it's been shipping by 1 or 2 day UPS.

I picked colors for each person going on the trip. It said something like hurry or you get default gray color. I did not notice a ship date. Will I receive a shipping tracking notice? Is there a way to go back and look for the ship date?

If you go back into MDE and act like you are customizing there will be a date to customize by. You will get an email the day they ship. What is your check in day? I see NY week so you will have yours before the 21st. Should be this week sometime.

Wow 40 giftcards, that will take quite awhile to process. The CM at the ticket window will add your AP to your DMX account and activate it. I would then ask them to confirm that your MBs are also activated.

If you missed the order date, your MBs will be waiting for you on check in. We visited in October and I customized our bands, but did it too late for them to ship to me. Our 4 bands were waiting for us when we checked in. Not having our bands didn't make a difference for FP+ reservations. We made those as soon as we had tickets linked to our account.

The web site is letting us customize our band for our June 2014 trip staying at BCV, but not for our upcoming Feb trip staying at BLT.

Do all BLT guests get bands? We have annual passes, but for the BLT trip we're going with another family that's buying regular tickets. Would that affect it?
