Magic Band Delivery or Front Desk?

I finally ordered upgraded Magic Bands for our upcoming trip. I thought they were supposed to be mailed, and the confirmation e-mail said something about "we will let you know when they are on their way," but when I log on it says they will be waiting for us at the front desk at the resort. Is there something I missed during ordering that defaulted to resort pick up instead of mailing them? Is there a way to switch it so that I can get them delivered instead of picked up? We all just love getting them in the mail ahead of time because it ramps up the excitement for the trip, and also is convenient to already have them with us.

I was told by multiple CMs over the phone that the only way they can be waiting at the front desk is if you specifically have them MAILED there.

Hmmm...interesting. It definitely says they will be at the resort for pickup. I don’t remember clicking on anything that said to mail them to the resort, but I must have done so without realizing it. All I remember doing is selecting my bands, entering my payment info, and completing the order. I plan on calling them later, but off hand does anyone know if the delivery address is switchable, or will they tell me no?

And they will not send them to a PO Box,has to be a street address.

I have never ordered the premium Magic Bands. On my last trip, I chose a color and personalized a free Magic Band. It arrived at my house. But I also got notified (an email, maybe?) that it would be waiting for me at the front desk of the hotel. When I got to the hotel, I vaguely recall that there was a Magic Band waiting for me, and I told the cast member to recycle it. I don't remember if it was personalized or if it was the color I chose. I have no idea why they had one waiting for me when they shipped one.
