Magic Band deactivate?

Old magic band no longer fits little guy as I made it into the child size when we went 2 years ago. Anyway, I purchased him a new from the the Disney store online. I went into MDE to activate the new band and now next to his name it shows 2 Magic Bands. MDE asked if I wanted to deactivate the old band under his name. I didn't know what to do, so I did nothing.

Should I deactivate the old band for the new band to work or just leave them both active?
