Magic band colors entering parks?

I just saw on another site that when you enter a park the color ( which is usually green ) turns the colors of you MB is this true?

Only the Limited Edition DVC 25th Anniversary bands do this. They are $32.99 online on the Disney Store website.

There are some other limited edition bands that turn the light a different color and/or make sounds such as Darth
Vader (red) and Yoda (also green of course).

This is incorrect for standard bands. Who on earth is reporting this? I'd be questioning other info they are reporting on if they are saying this about standard, free bands

No, many special bands edition, $30+ bands change readers colors
My Valentine band turns the scanner pink (and makes kissy sounds)
My F&W band turns the scanner blue (which is a very bad plan on their part as blue is the "error" color too)

I have a few that do this...

2014 MVMCP turns the scanner red/green/white & Mickey wishes you Merry Christmas (MK only)
2015 F&G turns the scanner green/pink & a little "magic" sound effect plays (Epcot only)
2015 SWW Jedi lightsaber turns the scanner green & makes a lightsaber sound effect (HS only) - there is also a red Sith version of the same thing

Do you mind telling me if your valentine band does that at all parks, or just MK? I got one from the parks app when it came out, excited to use it on our trip

Yes, the reader turns pink in all parks. It's very hard to hear the sound and not all readers have their sound on so I can't say for certain it does that in all parks but I think it does.
