Magic Band ?: Can I link new non-package ticket only to prior MB?

We did the whole package in September and still have our Magic Bands from that trip. I am planning to go again this spring, but will only be there 2 days, staying with a friend who lives nearby (free) and not on property. I know that you can't link your credit card if you're not on property to pay for things, but if I purchase my tickets ahead of time and link them to MDE, and have any ADR's (BOG for lunch, say) could I use the MB from our September trip to be able to enter, and also scan for FP+'s and ADR's?

Yep, anything that is on your MDE account will be linked to your MBs. I've collected about six MBs now, all from various trips, and I interchange them all the time.

Nothing is linked to your magic band. Your magic band is linked your MDE profile. Your tickets are linked to your MDE profile. Therefore, you can access your ticket via your magic band.

Ok, thanks, that's good to know! I just found the MB's so easy to use when we were there, and would love to have that ease-of-use again, even though I'm not staying on-site and such. i actually thought of buying one of the nicer collectible MB's, but since I'm trying to keep the costs as low as possible, I'm springing for Park Hopper so that I can do what I want in 2 days instead of spending on collectible things.... LOL
