Not sure if this is the correct forum, but in September we have a 2 bed room reserved, but our party is arriving at different times of the day. Once the first party arrives and checks-in will that activate the 2nd parties magic bands to work as a key to the room? Or will the 2nd party have to check-in as well.

A 2nd question now that I got your attention, I have an AP voucher linked to my MB, do I need to activate it before entering the park or will it automatically be activated when I first use it?

Thanks!

If you're all on the same reservation, once the first party checks in and gets the room number, the second party should be able to just go straight to the room.

As for the AP, you'll need to go to a ticket window either at DTD or any of the parks to officially activate it before going into any park.

Thanks so much.

On my May trip, I arrived on Sunday, one friend Tuesday, another friend Wednesday. my 2 friends did not have to do anything, their bands worked when they arrived. They never even scanned mine when I checked in.
