Magic Band Address Verification for Overseas Guests

I received a notice on MDE asking me to verify our address before we could personalise our MBs. I attempted to enter our listed address several times, only to receive the notice 'Use US address only'. It then told me that I would not be able to personalise without a US address. Now, I realise that WDW will not post to an overseas address and our MBs would be waiting for us at our hotel. But, not being able to personalise, while certainly not the end of the world, would be a little disappointing. Is there any way around this minor problem?

Unfortunately, there isn't a way around it. For the time being MB are shipped within the US only.
 
I don't need them shipped, I can't personalise the MBs. The site is locking me out of the next phase of the MB order process.
 
I was able to personalise our MBs for our January trip, and they were waiting for us when we checked in. It let me use my Aussie address for my MDE account with no problems. What if you put the resort address in as your postal address?
 

Canadian here, but we ran into similar issues.

It wanted me to enter my home address so it could then tell me they don't ship to Canada. MDE kept giving me errors, but I finally read a tip to use the app instead to change your address. I did and it let me, but it put my address as American. Went on MDE and changed it back to Canada and it finally worked. Using the app unlocked something that stopped the error. After that I could customize and at about 5 days out our bands shipped to the resort.

Try using the app as a backdoor method. That tends to help with website issues.

morethananyonex, thank you for the tip. We did try the App but without joy. I could combine efforts and use the App and the hotel address. Fingers and toes crossed.
