So, we are staying offsite, but my boys want to get Magicbands. Where can i get them before we go besides the Disney store.

I think the only 2.0 for sale at the moment are different limited edition bands and they are only at property. You might be able to get them and ship them home early using the mobile show disney parks app which you'll find in your phones app store. some are not available to ship home before you arrive..

At some point that will change and 2.0 will be widespread but right now they are transitioning to the new band so they are doing it in a way they can try to sell off or give away all of the old bands first so they don't loose money.

Well, it's still the disney store, but it's the online disney store--they have several for sale (probably same ones Bryan referred to above).

I was just there from Saturday-Tuesday and was specifically looking for them because I hate how big the 2.0 bands are on my wrist, and no luck. I didn't see a single one in the parks or at the shop in AKL Jambo House.

Thanks! Traveling in August and I'm sure the thread will have info soon. Just curious. I don't mind the band, but am struggling with how to wear it with my apple watch without having two things on one arm or one on each (especially in August, less anything to body contact the better...lol).

I wear one on each (Apple Watch on left, MB on right). I will probably get the carabiner accessory for the MB2 once it's available.

With the old band, I wore it and my fitbit on one wrist. With the new one, I wore my fitbit on one wrist and my MB on the other, and I kept trying to tap my fitbit to the tap points
