Final thoughts, where to begin?!

I might as well start with my knee! It kinda went back and forth once we got home! I did end up going to the dr about a week or so after we got back! She said I must have badly pulled a muscle. She gave me an anti-inflammatory and told me to stay off of it for a little bit. Luckily that worked!

Now onto what was my biggest angst about this trip. Traveling with such a big group. More importantly this group and, of course, making sure they had a fabulous time!

I was worried, before the trip, that we may get on each others nerves. I was worried about BIL getting on our nerves as he tends to be a little over bearing and high strung!

Any fears I had were for nothing! We truly had a wonderful time together! Absolutely no irritation, no problems, no issues!

Everyone had a fabulous time on the trip and we all had a fabulous time together!



Next Kidani! I love, love, love our DVC home! I the smaller feel! I love the beautiful rooms! I love the savanna! I would have loved to see more animals but I know that was weather related! I also really wish there was a CS! I can’t see why Disney wouldn’t put a CS there! I totally get that it’s DVC and people will bring food but not having CS was a pain in the butt! I didn’t have a problem at all with the location. I didn’t find the bus ride anywhere too long! I think we had great bus service all week! Including on Marathon day!







SW and ME! Both came through! I’m glad that we didn’t have to wait too long for an ME bus!

Best memory of the trip is hard to say. I think it was probably seeing the kids faces when we stepped onto Main Street! But there are a lot of others that are a close second!

Worst memory was more then likely that poor lady that fell at Chef Mickey’s!

Best meal for the memories, 1900 Park Fare and 50’s PTC are definitely tied! For food, well we didn’t eat at any place that completely out of this world but Le Cellier is wonderful! I love me some tomato stack and salt rubbed prime rib!







The weather! Oh, the weather! I guess we ran the gamut of extremes with our last 2 trip! October 09 was a heat wave and way hotter then we expected! January was so, so, so cold! OMG! COLD!!!! WOW!


I’m not sure what else I can comment on so I’m going to wrap things up now! We truly had a fabulous trip and I’d do it again in heartbeat! We made so many memories together that will last a lifetime!

I leave my TR with an ode to the trip! A picture movie I created as a way to relive the memories!

before DH and I head off on our journey I will be returning between now and then with a few last PTR things! Oh yes...the weather.....I have only been there when it has been in the upper 40's and 50's....it seems so much colder than it actually is though....we can take it though with our tough Northern blood although you always want it to be nice when you are on vacation
I love my AKV home too....and I usually choose to stay at Kidani rather than Jambo....although I do want concierge sometime and that is only at Jambo... I love the smaller scale and more homey feel of the lobby....just such a warm feelingl when you walk through the doors after a long day I have never had any bus problems there either....It amuses me when people say ohhhh it's so far away...well yes, there isn't a boat or monorail but if I remember MK is the longest ride....maybe 20 minutes at that (DTD a bit farther I think) I love it....one reason there are several resorts....something and some place for everyone!

I am at 14 days today Hey maybe about this time right now...you, Christine and I will be having a cocktail in Epcot!!!

We really had a fabulous trip!

It's funny, DH kept commenting on the same thing! 40 degrees in Florida seems so much colder then 40 degrees at home! I guess because your expecting it to be warm! I know during a long, cold winter a 45 degree day is like heaven! In WDW it wasn't!

Kidani is sooooo fabulous! It's definitely home! I would like to stay club level at Jambo at some point too! We stay club level at GF a few years ago when we got magically upgraded and it was heavenly!

I didn't think getting any place took too long! DTD did take a little long but it wasn't too bad! I can deal with that to stay at home

8 now! Woo hoo! so 13 for you! The idea of that cocktail in Epcot sounds wonderful

Thanks! I used imovie on my mac but there are a whole bunch of different movie making programs out there! I used to use windows moviemaker before my mac! It was great and easy to sue!

So, I'm starting to get really excited! I was excited before but now it's reaching the very excited stage! I'm not stressing because there is very little left on my to do list!

We're mostly packed! Woo hoo! I didn't want to leave that to the weekend because I wanted to get in some good, quality, family time! The only thing I have to do this weekend is go get my nails and toes done! I'll probably take DD with me!

The kiddos will be staying at MIL and FIL's house! It's very convenient because they live next door! I have most of their stuff packed to take next door and have done about 500 loads of laundry to make sure that they have enough clean clothes for me to put together for the week! I've also prepared my usual list of important things for MIL and a letter stating that it's ok for her and FIL to seek medical treatment for them if needed!

I love, love, love WDW in the fall! I love the colors! I love the decorations! I love MNSSHP! Halloween is my favorite holiday! I love the combination of 2 of my favorite things! Disney and Halloween! Can't get better then that!!

One thing that I'm planning on and trying to stick to is doing a lot at MNSSHP! In 06 we stayed only about 10. Last year we left just as the second parade was starting!

I realllllllly want to do the villains mix and mingle and meet lots of characters! I figure we'll see the second parade! I also plan to take tons of pictures! Hope you guys are ready for a lot of pictures!!!

With 5 days left to go I'll be back a time or 2 more with small updates! Have a magical day!
