1st Cruise EVER!!! Totally new to all of this. (to busy being a working mom!)
So looking forward to our cruise 4/6/12 (magic). will be joined by my Hubby and B/G twins 16 & BFF her Hubby & 23/4 year old son. So can't wait to get out of NJ, but totally not knowing how to enjoy a vacation!

I would like to start making our fish extender and gifts. Do we have the details of the families? My family is me-Stephanie, my husband-Chris and our 3 daughters-Alli-16, Amanda-13, and Alyvia-7. So excited! Its coming up soon now! WooHoo!

I'm here...just crazy with school and company here...oh good heavens!

I think my family needs to gracefully bow out of the FE's...I'm not creative at all and I'm on a budget and time is so limited. I'm just not sure I could do it justice and since this is our first cruise ever I'm just not sure what exactly I should do! I'm really sorry and hope y'all understand.

So excited for this vacation...I'm desperate for this time away from everything besides my man and my kid!

Ajsmom, I'm not too creative either...I found oriental trading to be my best friend in the FE exchanges I usually make up a cruise related gift bag for the kids. Last cruise for the Baltic, I found magnetic picture foam frames that were ocean/pirate themed from oriental trading that my daughter & I made & we just personalized them with a sharpie pen with the cruise date, our cruise theme & put a hidden Mickey on the pirate ship sticker. It took about an hour to make them all...but we had a HUGE group that cruise. Since that cruise was 2 weeks, we also made little candy goody bags to deliver on another day too. Quite honestly, I usually don't make something, I usually put together goody bags...doing the frames was a first. I'm still not sure what I'm doing this time yet.

We also got a lot of magnets for our stateroom doors, some homemade some from other family's hometowns/states/countries (we still have them on our fridge now). There were kid's goody bags that were like favor bags from birthday parties, pencils & writing pads, keychains, playing cards....busy stuff for downtime. Some people were extremely creative with mini cookbooks, music cds, emergency first aid kits etc! But there were also very simple things too...every thing was very appreciated! It really is more for fun, KWIM?

I'm actually panicking already since we are going on the Med cruise in 2013...I think there are 30 families already signed up for that FE exchange already

Is there anyone who was looking for a High Tea reservation who couldn't get one?

My wife has recently developed all kinds of food intolerances, and as a result is trying life without gluten. That pretty much takes out everything on the menu besides the tea.

So with that in mind I think were just going to cancel. So, if anyone was looking for a resso, let me know, and I'll cancel it at a time when you can pick it up.

Fine by me, just get me the kid(s) & their ages, my daughter is making stuff for the girls. She loves crafts of all kinds. If its easier for you to email me that is fine too. You have my email address. I know what ya mean about all the craziness. My calendar is full also with school work (I do school food service for 5000 kids) my kids & their school. Cruise can't get here fast enough for me.
