Hi-
We are a family of 5 booked in 8044 on the Magic. Just finished reading the Passporter (Wow! does it get you in the mood!). The Passporter indicated that stateroom 8044 (cat. 4) sleeps 4. Anyone have any experience in that stateroom--does it sleep 4 or 5? And how did you find the noise?
I guess I need to know if it is a misprint or I have a problem!
Thanks!

DCL would NOT book you into a cabin that only slept 4 if you had 5 people....I will (and you should also) assume the Passporter has a misprint.

Many DIS'ers have mentioned that some of the cabins listed in the Passporter have the wrong occupancy limits on them. Other than that little glitch...the Passporter is awesome!! Got mine the other day and love reading it!!!

Your room definitely sleeps five. Passporter has some major problems with the room occupancy limits, it seems.

The noise shouldn't be too bad; you are under the Goofy Pool area so you will hear some noise, but you're not directly under the stage.

Enjoy your cruise! :)

Thank you Webmaster Michelle!
I figured Passporter was wrong and DCL wouldn't put me in a room that slept only 4. We can't wait!!!

We are a family of 5 and stayed in Rm 8044 on our first cruise in 2000. It was fine and left a lasting impression as we came back the next year! One queen bed, one single wall pull out nr the verahdah and the couch was a bed at night and a top pull out over that one. It was perfect as by 3 boys/teens didn't have to share a bed...brotherly love, yeah right!
