Yahoo! We are booked for our 20th anniversary on the Disney Magic. This is our second cruise and we are so excited to celebrate our 20th anniversary with Disney! With me (Mari) is DH Mark, DS Ben and DD Kira! Looking to start a FE group as we haven't been able to find one yet; once we have a few more people that we know are sailing with us. So far, it looks like a very empty ship, LOL!
:cloud9::hug:

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :beach:
Have a great cruise!

Hi Mari... I checked in here last week and there wasn't a thread started yet. I just booked this cruise today (paid in full, mostly used our DVC points).
We booked a 6A this time... It is me, Dolores (47) lol, Husband Brian, and dd Ally age 13 at time of sailing. This year is our 15th anniversary.. I guess I should tell them.. we have late dining... This is my and Allys 3rd Disney cruise and Brians 2nd. We are avid cruisers on other lines. Where are you guys from? We live in NH.
Definitely have to do FE!!

Hi Dolores! This will be our second cruise and our first FE. We are from Ontario, Canada. We have the early dining and are in a 5A room. Kira will be 11 and Ben will be 14 at time of sailing. I started the thread because I didn't see one either and couldn't wait anymore!

Oh cool, the kids are close in age. We have friends in Ontario, one in St. Catharines, one in Renfrew, and we are picking up two puppies next month in Cornwall. The breeder is meeting us there so we don't have to drive 9 hours, just 5 1/2, lol.

I am planning on using the FE from our Fantasy cruise Feb 2012. I am sure there will be more people joining in.

We chose this week because it is my daughters spring break... and the weather should be amazing the end of April. The itinerary is great too. We already know that we will be doing the swim with the sting rays in Grand Cayman.

We chose late dining, so we don't have to rush too much off the islands... We are in Key West from 12:30 - 7:30 pm.

OK, enough babbling from me, lol

We are about 16 hours north west of St. Catherines! A little closer to Renfrew though! Neat the Ben and Ally will be close in age. We had the late dining time but changed to the early one, similar to last time as well as our normal time at home.

If you have participated in a FE before that's wonderful. We haven't and I wasn't sure how to organize one.

Anxiously awaiting more people!

I can start the FE list... and add as we go along...

FE LIST Groups will consist of no more than 15 cabins each, each will be named. If you would like to participate in more than one group, let Dolores know.

Please provide names of people in your cabin, ages of children and if they are a boy or girl (some names can be either :-) ) , cabin number, allergies to foods (in case someone is giving food as a gift).

LAST DAY TO JOIN THE FE IS MARCH 1, 2015! THIS SHOULD GIVE PLENTY OF TIME TO MAKE ITEMS. IF THERE IS INTEREST, LATE COMERS, I WILL KEEP/ MAKE THE LATECOMER LIST AS WELL.

Hooray! Our daughter will be 11 when we cruise! She will be excited to know another girl her age. My son will be 14.

A fish extender hangs from the fish message holder next to your cabin door. You make or buy little (or big and elaborate!) gifts for the people in your group. You leave them in the fish extender at each cabin in your group. You can do this once or more than once over the course of the cruise. You can leave cabin gifts or gifts for each person or group gifts for the adults and individual gifts for the kids. What you leave and how often is all up to you, as is the value of what you give.

This is our second Disney cruise but our first time participating in a fish extender group!

So far there is only our family and one other family. We would love to have you join! :yay:

Last year we stayed at a La Quinta, which was nicer than we thought! I think we want to stay on the ocean side of the road this time though, closer to the pier.

We are staying at the Days Inn at Cocoa Beach. It's on the ocean and only about 5 miles from the port.

Hello! This will be my first cruise and my DH's second. We are taking our girl/boy twins for their 5th birthday (April 28). We are not telling the kids until we leave for the airport - we will put together some sort of gift for them to open surprising them with the cruise. I am totally ecstatic and cannot wait for this adventure! Hopefully I can get to know some of you fellow cruisers, plan some meet ups and get some advice from the veterans!!!

Wow... more people...

We live in New Durham, near Alton NH.

The FE participants list is post number 7... I will add the new people if they want to join in the fun. I need names of people in cabin and ages of the kids please....

It is never too early... I think we are planning to stay at the Radisson at the port. I should probably book soon though.

:wizard:

Good Monday morning... yayyy, things are picking up.

I started the list back at post #7... if you are interested in joining in the fun, please post your first names, with ages of children. Depending on how many people we get (it is still early) we can split the FE group in half or more if needed, so we aren't doing too many. What is a good number for you all? I think groups of about 15ish? Also, we will need to set a cut off date, to make it easier on those of us that make personalized with dates items?? Maybe March 26? or is that too close?

I may have some family joining us... I am hoping to book my cousin her dh and children and her dad, my uncle later today before the prices go up too much. They have been on Disney before and loved it, but didn't do the FE, not sure if they will participate. I will talk to her more after they book. The onboard credit is helping them decide, lol.

I have subscribed to this thread (although I didn't get the notifications?) I will be sure to check in here as often as possible.

A little about me, I am a hospice RN full time, and have two small businesses, I am married (15 years next year) two grown children ages 24 and 21 and Ally the current 12 year old (13 at cruise time). We have a small farm in NH, chickens and ducks and gardens, and 5 Newfoundland dogs. Love to travel, been on over 25 cruises and own DVC meaning we go to Disney at least yearly.

OK enough for now...

Hi Dolores

This is our first cruise, but have been reading about FES and are interested in joining up. It would be Alison (me), Keith (DH) and Sam (DS 6)

Good morning Alison,

I added you to the list.... so far we have 3 families confirmed.

The list is located at post #7...
