Okay - here goes....
Day 1 - We spent the night at the Hyatt NW - Nice hotel - but avoid the shuttle service they offer - next time - we're doing the rental car - drop and shuttle.
Day 2 - Cruise DAY! - Shuttle is LATE.
We finally get to port at 1:15 - and we had wanted to get there by 12:00 noon. Get on ship at 1:45 - not too bad - head right to Parrot Cay for lunch.
We're split into 2 state rooms (6000 and 2034) since we can't fit into 1 room. But cards all work and things are good. Temp - A little cool. Go up to the top deck for the farewell - we're 3rd ship out. No navy subs or interesting things docked at the naval yard - so back down for the drill..
Dinner - We're on the Lumerie - AP - PC rotation - so a bit of a change for dinner - get to our table (it's an 8 person table and there's 5 of us) - then family of 3 shows up - and we begin -
DW gets the risotto and it is a bit crunchy - she mentions to the server and next thing you know the chef is at our table! We talk to him a bit and he agrees that most would probably like it softer... (that's the end of it right? Wrong!)
Get kids to their events (kids clubs) and then off to the show - 8:30 sitting.
