Magic 11/20/04 Thanksgiving Cruisers?

Hi turkey day gang!! it was wonderful spending the thanksgiving holiday w/ ya'all!! We are looking forward to seeing you again next year!!

Hi TurkeyDay Gang!!!

It was great meeting all of you. I was exhausted yesterday (Sunday). I don't think I got enough sleep. I still feel like I'm moving. How long does this last?

I'll try and get some photo's posted to ofoto.com this week. DD misses all the friends she met (so do I). She was a bit weepy a few times on the way home. It was a great vacation!! :cool1:

Hi TurkeyDay gang!! :grouphug:

We already miss you and the Disney Cruise. :sad1:

We are ready for our '05 Thanksgiving cruise... our bags are still packed!

We got back yesterday at about 3:45pm but here's the hard part, after driving from long distance, we had to take everything out of the rented van, put all suit cases in the house and take the van back to rental place and then come home and finally crash out. :faint:

uh, oh...just clicked on the wrong button, I wasn't finished yet :headache: :crazy2: ...anyway...we decided to not do this driving thing AGAIN!!! We saw two separate major car accidents and the LONG driving is just too much. WE ARE FLYING NEXT TIME!

That whole Disney Cruise went way too fast...John and I really enjoyed all of you guys and missed you already...kinda kinky, don't you think? Anyway, we have to keep up on what's happening to everyone and for those who are going next year, I guess we can start another post for the '05 trip.

Oh yeah, Willie...you and my husband did a great job talking to your DD to get me sign up for the next cruise....you can buy me that foofy drink next time. :drinking1 or better yet, that tequila...WOW, that cleared my sinuses.

And...RON...never met anyone like you...you are a trip. I believe you can survive the Castaway in the ocean as long as you still have your bucket of MILLERLIGHT...and your DW is a wonderful lady. :flower:

My DH and I will go over the pictures we have and send it to everyone, but will let you know. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Talk to you all soon,

Julia ::MinnieMo

Hey Turkey Day Cruisers--
We too had a great time everyone--and I am finally not listing when I walk :earboy2: I have already starting to shadow the thanksgiving thread for next year.

We cannot wait until next year! :cool1:

Returning turkey cruisers ---

Was the tree in the atrium lit up or just there - waiting?

Hello Turkeys!
I have to say that it was a fantastic cruise for us. We got back to East Texas about 10:00 PM Sunday night. Spent Saturday afternoon at Magic Kingdom, and Sunday at Downtown Disney. Stayed at AK on DVC points. We just wanted to check out the AK lodge. We decided we like Wilderness Lodge and Boardwalk alot more!

On the way home, I asked each of my family members what was the best thing about the cruise. DD14(Hayley) said that it was just being able to relax and spend time reading and going to the shows. Which is what she did most. She finished 8 books on the cruise. (I am going to change her name to BELLE, from Beauty and the Beast!) Kelli,Erin, and I all said that the best part of the cruise was the new friends we made from the DIS meets. It is really nice to be able to share a good time with friends. And we ran into DIS friends everywhere. I have to say THANK YOU to all of the DIS Turkey Day Gang. You guys made OUR trip something special. All we were lacking was a certain little "Melody"!

Gotta get some work done! Also have to try to sober up! Trying to keep up with Lampy will kill a guy!
Did I read that there is already a 2005 Turkey Day thread? Well, we gotta take that one over! I counted 4 DIS families rebooked for 2005 Thanksgiving. (Miller,5J's,Eiss,Silver7's) Anyone else I missed?

Willie

Hello Turkeyday gang,

I just got my water pictures developed and the one of the big toothed fish at CC missed his mouth every time. Anyone have a picture of him to share?

:boat:

What a great cruise! It was nice meeting those of you we were able to catch up with. We rebooked for May 2006. Thought about Thanksgiving 2005 but decided to wait a little longer. Back to the real world now.

Sherry

I have two questions:

Did anyone else walk like Capt Jack Sparrow after they got home? (not on purpose pirate: )

And

Does anyone else have Jimmy Buffett songs stuck in their heads??

("Its those changes in latittudes, changes in attitudes")

Hey guys!!!! Had a few Millerlites on the plane (are you surprised) and drove home while DDs and DW slept. Sat. we were home by 5:00p.m. only to start take DDs to movies, friends houses etc.....It was a blast!!!

As far as being a CC.....if the ship ever sunk do ya think we could float on on of those 6 pack buckets from CC? LOL

5cjs.....we had a blast at palo and on the Beach Party. As you can tell I am the outgoing one between myself and DD......I guess someone has to be responsible....LOL Don't I spew responsibility when you look at me? LOL

Cruise director Willie.......ya that's what I'll call ya.....I don't believe I ever thanked you for taking care of palos for us.....THANKS....and for all of you other cruisers.......I am sailing next year again....just not sure when......

My DD said "I'm still swaying"....I said "I always do, I can't notice a difference"!!!!!!! LOL

It is way TOO COLD here! I wasnt the warmth of the cruise instead of the 35 degress we had today!!
We had a GREAT cruise and it was so much fun meeting everyone! DD was crying when she finally went to bed Fri. night and was very crabby Sat. morning because she didn't want to get off the ship and leave all her new friends. I must admit I was near tears myself at breakfast Sat. morning. I wish we could go back again next year, but hey at least I finally got Al to agree to buying DVC so I'll settle for that for now!

I am still swaying like Capt Jack Sparrow but it's getting better. Well off to tackle another mountain of post vacation laundry.

Cheryl

We are back, trying to get fully unpacked & X-mas decorations up & laundry done!!! We got back home about 10:30 Sat evening- then on Sunday we had 6-8 inches of snow- really had to be back now!!! A move to Texas sounds good to me!

It was great to meet all of you!! :D

Oh Yes, thanks for reminding us, Ron....

...We would lilke to say thank you, Willie, for taking the time doing the reserv. for Palo. YOU are the captain of our ship...you are very organized.

I'm glad that everyone is safe back home, only some of you have to deal with the snow but that should make you want to go back next year on the Cruise, right?

Hey, Ron...I had LOL about you not knowing the difference...like I said before, you are something else. :hyper:

If any of you would like to email me, julie_s@zoomtown.com, I would like to have your home address so that I can send you all Christmas cards....is that time of the year already.

See you all later,

Julia ::MinnieMo

I have put my cruise photos on OFOTO. If you guys would like to view them, send me your email and I will send an invitation from OFOTO. You don't have to join to view them, but it is free to join.

I have some good photos of the little girls, or the Brady Bunch, as they called themselves.

The photos you took are great, Willie!! Thanks for sharing them!!

I feel Disney deprived now that I'm back to reality. I have had to do laundry, buy groceries and cook. Yuck!! Nobody has been cleaning my house twice per day or leaving towel animals for me. What a shame!!

I'm looking forward to spending the Thanksgiving holiday w/ ya'all again next year!!

Take care, Lisa

Turkey Day Gang,

It was great meeting all of on the cruise :grouphug: !

Ron...you rock dude! :rockband:

Willie...thanks again for arranging the Palo Brunch! Eric and I really appreciate it! :grouphug:

Teresa...thanks for arranging the High Tea for the princesses princess: princess: princess: It was fantastic! I will do it every chance I get from now on.

As for that return Turkey Cruise in 2005 pirate: ...I don't think we are going to make it. Eric really surprised me on the ship and finally committed to buying DVC... :cloud9: I've been trying for 2 years to make that magic happen! So, I suspect that we will be making our first trip "home" to Saratoga Springs next Thanksgiving if not sooner. I will be asking all of you experts on DVC tons of questions I'm sure.

Well, I need to run...Nic has a choir performance tonight...been at an all day workshop with his school choir. My DISboard goal is to find the thread from Lampy while we we onboard ship and have some good memories and then I'm gonna check out those photos from Willie.

Again, great to meet all of you! Take care!
Laura

Thanks guys......DD Jessica still won't listen to "Ron Bon Jovi" oooppppsssss I mean Jon....heheheheeh Hey where is Crusindisney.....she seems to be the "pic" person. There has to be a "photo shop" type of web site we could all sighn up to and pist our digital pics......Any ideas????? There has to be a "chat room/picture site" we can meet up in. Looks like we are definately sailing again around the same time next year.....problem.....DDs want to go Eastern again......I've got 10 months to change their mind......did you see all cat 6's are sold out on your sailing???
