Magic 11/20/04 Thanksgiving Cruisers?

Silver7.........so if I "double dog drink of they day dare you".....does that mean you have to drink 2?

Lampy I think we need to get you on the ship and get you a beer and SOME (did you notice I said SOME, you need to share the shrimp) shrimp and a beer, you have way too much time on your hands and you have been bitten by cruiseitis bad with your summaries of the activity on this thread LOL. On another note you can have my share of the beer on the cruise, I just can't drink more than a few sips of that stuff YUCK.

Teresa Normally I don't drink that much either but there is something about those tropical drinks on the Magic that I just can't resist, so I will join you and have the drink of the day, or some other tropical drink, every day (I might even have 2). DD can't wait to have her smoothie every night with dinner. On our first cruise our assistant server started calling her Rachel Smoothie by the middle of the cruise, she was 6 at the time and thought that was neat!

Cheryl

Oh don't even go there--I probably will without the dare:hyper:

Cheryl, we need to form our own group--The Foofy Drink Divas or somesuch!

I did not know they made smoothies! My family will be so happy with that news!

:bounce:

O.K., on the first day, we all are going to wrestle for shrimp, put those big ugly life vests on, head to dec 10 for the dis meet were we can watch silver drink 2 drinks of the day......now onto day 2........there is nothing better than a "spicy" bloody mary on dec 4 as the ship is sailing.......yep, I watch all of those "health concious" cruises doing their laps around the ship as I sip that drink......aaahhhhhhhhhh what a start to a day!!!

Lampy, how else do you think we Divas keep our girlish figures?princess:

Actually, DH and I are planning to do the exercise walks every day.

20oz curls is the excecise for me while sailing......LOL As you and DH are excersising I hope I don't ruin the "rythm" of your walk as my straw slerps the bottom of the glass..........heheheheheh

Teresa Unfortunately they aren't tropical fruity smoothies but almost more like a shake and DD had them with dinner every night (we didn't see them offerd anywhere else). They only had a few flavors to choose from and I think they did vary a little every night. The flavors I remember were strawberry, peach, chocolate and vanilla. There were a few nights on our last cruise where she wanted something more tropical so she would get a non-alcoholic pina colda or strawberry daquiri.
I think the Foofy Drink Divas definitely has potential lol!

Lampy I will be one of those health concious cruisers doing my laps around the ship, after all I have to remeber I'm training for the WDW 1/2 marathon in Jan., but then later I can have my Foofy drink because hey I'm training for a marathon so I'll need my carbs right

Ya, that's it carbs..........I too am training for a marathon........my 6th annualy New Years eve party.........this on is at the "new house". LOL Am I beginning to sound like a lush? Well if I am I'm taking you all with me........maybe we should call it "the booze cruise".

I have been carb starved for about 18 mos. Only splurge on special occasions. This will be a weeklong carb load for the Willster. If you see me talking 100 mph, I am probably on a sugar high!

Lampy, when I spoke to Debbie at DCL, I asked her to send a message to the ship for me.

Message START- Illinois favorite son, and famous Miller Lite Drinker, Ron Lampskies will be sailing the Magic Nov 20-27-STOP-Diversions may need to double order Miller kegs-STOP-ALso, unusually high number of Texicans sailing same cruise-STOP-Be warned of possible barley and hops emergency.STOP

Can a dude be a Foofy Drink Diva?

LOL LM#O Willie!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here's what I'm thinking............From Spanish class wwaaaayyyyyyyyy back in H.S. "Hermano" is a guy "Hermana" is a girl.....right? We are sailing to Mexico.....right? Do would it be a "foofy divo and diva"? I be you all want to know how I get so smart..........

Are non-alchoholic speciality drinks included or an extra charge at dinner? I can't remember. How about the speciality coffee at the cafe'?

I have a feeling that someone on this cruise is going to be responsible for a beer shortage onboard!
:teeth:

I *think* the smoothies at dinner are included, and the coffees at the coffee bar are extra.

Foofy Drink Diva and Dude cruise!

ps
Are margaritas included as Foofy Drinks??? Who is planning on hitting the Hot tub??

You don't have to thank me. I am just looking out for my man Lampy. Besides, I know if the ship goes short of Miller Lite, he will blame the Texans! That could get ugly!
Some of these Texas broad----umm ladies are pretty tough!

But I will be behaving myself. I will only drink my fair share.

And I know Lampskies will be sneaking on mucho "contraband" brews, anyway! So, when the ship runs out, I will be yelling- "Hey everybody, the party is in cabin 6130! Free beer! "

Signed,

The Reluctant Foofy Divo

- Just drop me off at rehab on the way home.

Only to the 80's night on the ship........LOL

Foofy drink Dude sounds even worse! What is a manly guy supposed to do if he likes those drinks?

And YES I will be trying to get my big rump to the hot tubs! We just bought one this year, and I love it. There is no better way to chill out. Now that is a good time for a foofy.

And about the margarita, I don't know if they are sweet enough for "foofy" Maybe if you can get an umbrellie in it. We may have to debate this.

Yeah! 99 of em!Yee Haw!

But what about the boat drinks? The Jimmy Buffet rule applies here............ While sailing the Carribean, all parrot heads will consume boat drinks!!...................Or is that the Willie Miller rule? I forget.
(mucho LOL!)

You guys that have sailed Disney before must have some opinions about the specialty boat drinks on Disney. Let's hear some of em! For instance, how does a"SnowFlake" taste? I heard that is a CC specialty. What was your favorite boat drink or smoothie?

Willie

This will be the best Magic cruise!

I believe the "special" is the Konk Cooler...........DDs drink virgin daqueries all day.......I could do a lime and an umbrella......at CC if you buy 5 beers you get 1 and a bucket for free........that means 10=12 and 2 buckets........oh ya, we'll be there twice .........but, the Lobster on CC won't be 'till Friday!!!!!
