Magic 11/20/04 Thanksgiving Cruisers?

I have another question for you that goes along with that one. . what are you doing with the shells? Grabbing another table and using that one for the discards?

Also, will one tray be enough?

O.K........how 'bout a "list" of things we think are trivial that we might forget..........

1) Small can of shaving cream......what is unused Sat. morning the 27th gets tossed.

2) Sun Tan oil and sun screen......I usually bring what is let from the summer of boating and beaching and, yes, toss out what is unused on Sat.

3) Don't forget the underwater disposable cameras.......they are perfect for DDs. You don't have to worry about you good cameras getting wet or lost.......They are A LOT cheaper at Walmart this time of the year. And MUCH CHEEPER than they will be on the ship and at ports!!! NEVER PUT FILM AND DISPOSABLE CAMERAS WITH NON CARRY ON LUGGAGE!!!!!!!!

YAHOO 2 weeks form now we will be on the Magic!!!!! By this time we will have been checked in and eaten some of that shrimp (providing Lampy doesn't eat it all first ) have gotten our Palo ressies, have DD registered in kids club and be unpacking. I can't wait!!!!!!!

Lampy they not only have the shrimp at the Palo brunch but they also have crab legs that are already cracked open for you so you don't have to work at getting the "meat" out and they have always been delicious too (DH and I like them better than the shrimp)!!!!

Another thing that is nice to take along with the disposable underwater camera is a disposable panoramic camera. We have some really nice shots of CC and the other islands using a disposable panoramic camera.
And don't forget the over the door shoe holder to tuck all those "little things" like camers away in on the cruise.

DD is having her hair braided on CC on Sun. She has had it braided there on both of our other cruises and they have done a good job and seemed to be more reasonably priced than what we saw at the other islands. She keeps talking abou how she can't wait to get her hair braided again!

We are arriving in Orlando late Friday morning, checking in to the Pop Century and then heading to Downtown Disney to get some Christmas shopping done. We'll probably eat at the Rainforest or Planet Hollywood. My cell number is 414-801-7442

We're driving to Port Canaveral Sat morning, we rented a mini van from Avis to share with our friends and we'll have to have it turned in at the Avis by the Port by 11:00 so we should be at the terminal by then! I can't wait. I can't wait, I can't wait!!!!

12 more days--that's great!! I guess it's time to start packing!! I was thinking of wearing capris and a top to the Palo brunch and my DH will probably wear a pair of Khakis and a button down shirt.

ATA switched our flight so I got them to get us a room at a hotel in Indy Thursday night. We fly out at 8:50 a.m. That means 10 days for us!!! We'll be downtown disney also at PH or RFC for eats.....but probably not 'till later. We're taking Disney transportation from BC Saturday!!!! Only one more Sunday to get things together!!!!

Can't believe it's coming!!

I'm just nervous about making sure things get done like packing medicines, suntan lotions, etc. And, make sure the house is clean before we leave. You DW out there know what I'm talking about...in order for us to relax and enjoy the cruise, we like to leave the house knowing that it is clean and it's nice to come back home when it's still clean.

Are the DH out there listening???!!! I'm just giving you a hint.

I still have to do shopping for my DS (15). He's very hard to shop with.

Counting down and getting very excited to see the MICKEY Boat and warm weather.....brrr, it very cold in Cincinnati.

Julia I'm already starting to throw things like suntan lotions, small toiletries etc. in the suitcase as I think of them that way I won't forget them. I too am trying to make sure the house is clean before we leave because as I keep telling DH it will be time to start decorating for Christmas when we get back. I had taken off of work next week Thur. so I could be sure everything would be set without me having to stay up untill all hours of the night the night before we leave and then yesterday I found out I'll need to go into work on Thur after all because we have a meeting and I have to help a coworker with some computer training before we go Oh well at least I am off on Wed. and I'll just have to be in the hogh power cleaning and laundry mode then lol.

It's getting cold here in the Milwaukee area too and they are even saying we might get some of that nasty white stuff (I can't even bring myself to say it lol) tomorrow night. I can't wait for some balmy warm sunshine !!!!!

Today the Magic should be in Grand Cayman. I can't wait to see what kind of reports are posted on it.

We're getting CLOSE now!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I count my Thursday date as my count down I'm in single didgits!!!!! DW just said "just when I thought I had all the small stuff purchased (hairspray, tooth paste etc.) she remembered.........we have two staterooms!!!!!!" LOL looks like double everything!!!

The good news is that out Palo Brunch DIS MEET is up to 22.
The bad news is that our Palo Brunch DIS MEET is up to 22!

I have been working to try and book the brunch ahead of time. I have been contacting Andy, AKA Verandah Man. He booked a couple of these before. But the most he had was 16. He said they used the private room, and it only holds about 14. But they had to split up their group into two. He said I may need more than one person to book for 22.
Then I called Debbie at DCL, and she said that I most likely will not be able to get that many at one time. She said that if there were 8, it would be possible. But she said that they don't use the private room for brunch.(?) She said we could book for the same times, but would be at different tables.

She would not let me book any more right now. The Griffins are doing REAS also, and they were able to make Palo Brunch res early, and link to my res. Anyone else that is doing the REAS, can make an early res for Palo Brunch, and can request the same table. Let me know if you do.

I will still be going to the reservation desk as soon as I board, and try to set everything up for Monday at 11:00. BUT... I would advise everyone to head to the Palo reservation desk to see if I was successful. It will probaby depend on how booked it is. When you get there, if I was not able to make your reservation, you may have to do it.
Debbie at DCL said that the brunch buffet tables take up alot of room, so space is limited.
I don't know how Andy was able to get that many people, and use the private room.

I will do my best.
