yes, Dry Dock begins on 9/6 til 9/27 when the next cruise leaves. I am so sorry you had to deal with the noise. I hope DCL Settle with all affected.

I really hope this gets fixed in dry dock. My parents will be in 6056 in sept. 2009 and I know my dad will hit the roof if he has this experience (which in turn will make my mom's cruise horrible).

we had a problem on a previous cruise--not noise, but constant sewage smell in the room--even though we told everyone onboard we were not given anything--but were treated like we were making it up---wrote a letter once we got back and got a 15% discount to use for a future cruise, but applied it to one we had to cancel and lost the discount.

Oh, no! This is the room we are in...yikes! It is the Oct 4th cruise (after dry dock). Other reviews of this room were good, but this has me wondering if I even want to chance it.

So glad I am on this board to find things out like this. Thanks for posting it.
