Magazine pop up

Not sure where to post. Is anyone having issues with some magazine called lemode opening every time you change threads? I cannot get rid of it.

I had it earlier.....didn't even have to change threads...it just appeared. Has t happened on my iPad though.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought i had a virus or something but it isnt happening on any other website.

I am having the same problem. I thought it was me, so I just did a Spybot search on my computer. Got everything cleaned out and came on this website and it immediately did it.

I have no iea but I cannot use my ipad or phone for Disboards which really limits me.

I just had it happen for the last 10 minutes Finally was able to click on this thread and it hasn't happened again. So annoying!

The Community board has a similar thread today with numerous reports of the same thing. I had this happen to me a couple of months ago and asked about it on the tech board. After many days I got a reply that it wasn't a Dis board problem. Yet it only happened when I was on the Dis. And then it stopped.

I posted on another thread about this that I couldn't even get on disboards in google chrome and when I switched to IE it got better.

Now I'm getting mad.

First it was just the pop-ups.

Now I'm getting a message that says:

Phishing attack ahead

AND

Risk to my security

It's ONLY happening on the Dis Boards.

I'm ready to stay off these boards, cancel my subscription to Good Housekeeping, and never watch Ellen or Dr. Oz again.

But seriously, this is getting very very annoying. Do we think it will actually be addressed?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I started a thread about this last weekend and it grew to be 3 pages long of just people complaining. The pop up ADs stopped and now here we are again the following weekend but today has been SO MUCH WORSE! It's been ridiculous!

There are at least a couple other threads on this. Install an adblocker program and you'll be fine. I use adblock plus and have had no probems.

Yes it was happening to my last night so I logged off. this is the first time today that I have logged on. My husband runs security screening every week on our computer and I had him do it the other day cause I kept getting a flash player pop up. Hope the problem will be fixed cause it is very frustrating issue.

OMG IT IS GETTING WORSE!!! I can barely use the boards, the ads keep blocking the screen and I hit the Back button and another one pops up. I can't get past them. It is ONLY on dis. It needs to go away. now.

This is also happening on another non-disney forum that I'm on. Same ads/websites pop up. Weird.

I'm using my iPad. I went to settings> Safari> Advanced> JavaScript > off

That seemed to do the trick.

Yep, getting the same magazine ads as well as the "phishing attack ahead" message, as well. It's been happening for the past couple of months.

I'm getting it on my ipad in Safari. Very annoying.
