well, only 21 days to go. to keep me occupied i decided to do a little pre trip report.

Cast
Me (34 love mickey, stitch and all things pixar)
DH (Phil, 38 loves what the disney magic does for the kids)
M-I-L Viv, 59, had never left the country until we took her to DLP last year)
DD1 (Colette 12, loves Mickey and Pooh's gang, big thrills and spending money)
DD2 (sophie, 9, loves stitch, cinderella HSM, Hannah Montana and big thrills)
DS! (Lenox, 8, just kinda goes with the flow)
DS2 (Jamie, aka jimbo, loves all the playhouse disney gang, stitch and toy story)

travelling on sunday feb 6th Eurostar direct to DLP from London St Pancras.
Staying in Hotel Santa Fe. Returning Thurs 10th Feb.

No Half board booked and on a budget of 1000 euro's to last the whole trip!! although viv has her own cash

plan to eat brekkie early , stock up on rolls croissaints etc, have thermos flasks for cup a soups and hot drinks! EMH every morning and maybe one GMFL breakfast.
cheap and cheerfull meals, probably Maccy D's. annettes and other fast food type places, and have pot noodles, cup a soups etc back at the hotel later.
really looking forward to this trip and are considering a trip into paris this time, probably just phil and me as it is our 10 year wedding anniversary too

Sounds like you have it all planned out! The GMFB sounds great - from a recent trip report it sounds better than hotel and a lot less crowded!

Oh how freaky we are both at DLP at the same time and apart from my birthday celebrations, we are also celebrating 10 years of marriage .Hope you have a romantic trip to Paris and both our families have an amazing time

well, it seems we now have 5 extra travellers with us! Hubby's cousin and her hubby, thier ds(9) and their dd(8) and hubby's aunite (50 something)
they are all staying in HNY, except Aunty Maureen who will be in one of our rooms as we are under occupied by 1 person! Rang them and got it sorted no probs, only issue is she will be probably sat on the eurostar all by herself lol!
My My this is gonna be an interesting trip, as his cousin and I don't have the greatest history as friends (infact i we may have even come to blows on one occassion!!) The Mother in law is not MY biggest fan, and her teamed up with her sister and fave niece is a little scary LOL, but I WILL NOT let this spoil my holiday, i am taking my kids for a good time and that is what we'll have!!!

Wow! That could be a bit overwhelming! At least if your MIL has her sister there then that may give you a bit more space.

Every cloud..... just think of all the extra baby-sitters you now have so you & your DH can have some time to yourselves!

I'm sure you will still have a great time, it's good to share the magic with others as long as you aren't having to change your plans to fit in with them! You should have plenty of time to fit it all in though.

We're going exactly the same dates as you!

Hope your family help rather than hinder your fun - but if all goes well it may mean more babysitting being offered if you want a evening alone

lol will swop my MIL for yours... she cant be worse!!! shes calling in for 'tea' tonight - a thinly veiled way of saying she'll be in to comment on my weight and less then desirable cleaning skills gotta love the inlaws

we did a family trip last year with DPs brother and daughter coming along and we split into two groups on the last day to get some rides done that DPs brother and niece didnt want to do and vice versa. It was also good to have a break because being with anyone for 4 consecutive days could cause friction.
