Are these used by a lot of people at the WOC show?

Very few guest have these hats.
The spectacular youtube videos, with thousands of glowing hats, are promotional events.

As Nonsuch said, you won't really see that many people wearing the Made with Magic merchandise (ear hats, gloves, ear bands, drink cups, etc.) at any of the shows. There are usually a handful, but nothing like what you see in the promotional material.

My son has the 60th anniversary ears and the wand. He loves to change other people's glowing items. He wore them to Paint the Night recently and there was only a few people with them. We saw more people with them at WOC in November.
