We had the last 3 nights of our vacation booked at OKW and I called today to switch to a 1 bed at BCV. We managed to get in so we are all really looking forward to staying there. We picked BCV as the kids really wanted to try Stormalong Bay :woohoo: . Has anyone stayed there and can offer some tips etc.,

DD and I stayed there in May 2005 - she loved it tho' I found Stormalong Bay got very busy and noisy from time to time which I wasn't so keen on. It's definitely a great experience for kids tho' and I'm thinking that I'll add-on at BCV in the future... :thumbsup2

we have stayed at the beach club but not at the villas
it is a great location, we loved to take a walk around the broadwalk every night before bed to unwinded
Stormalong Bay is great fun , most say we didn't find it any busier then any of the other pools at the other resorts , rember having a lovely sleep there one evening
we really enjoyed the breakfast at May Cape

You will all have a great time there

i would love to be able to change our stay to the BCV this time , but with the food and wine at epcot not holding out much hope , but I will try :wizard:

We own at BCV and really love it there. The close proximity to Epcot and all the dining opportunities that offers, an evening stroll around the Boardwalk and for some Stromalong Bay. Not me though....we found SB hideously busy, and rather odd there, but the quiet pools at the Villas are great and we often had them to ourselves.

Try the Clambake at BC....it's great value and good fun.

Well done Jakki, I am sure the kids will have a blast! :)

Thanks guys - the kids will mean that we have to spend at least some of the time a Stormalong bay but we are early risers so we could spend the mornings there and leave when it gets too busy. We also like the quite pools so plan to spend some time there as well

Enjoy! BCV isn't my fave resort but then everyone likes something different.

Stormalong Bay is great and so is the Cape May Café. It's nice to be able to walk to Epcot and the boat to MGM is fun, but walking is almost quicker.

Buses aren't that brilliant, making loads of stops at the Boardwalk, Swan, Dolphin and Yacht Club, so I would recommend trying other ways to get to the parks.

Not much in that area in the way of Counter Service dining.. offhand I can only think of the Pizza window at Boardwalk.

Funnily enough I'm not expecting it to be one of my favorites as I think it will be too busy for us but I am looking forward to trying it.
