OP, I love your idea! It certainly makes meeting the princesses more 'cool'- after all, what little boy doesn't want to be a secret agent?! I would definitely get some black sunglasses to complete the look- adorable!

For the record, protecting princesses is not really feminine. A grey shirt with spy-style writing on is definitely not feminine! It looks quite grown up and sophisticated to me!

Pink also is not always feminine. My teenage brother is pretty masculine, sporty and very into girls. He likes to wear pink and so do his friends. Pink is 'sick' as they call it. He has pink shirts and pink shoelaces. They go great with his beige chinos.

That, is awesome.
I used to work at Applebee s, we loved doing the Komen fundraisers. A few of the boys wore pink shirts. Very well,I might add.:-)

Thanks to all the kind responses --- I really have to laugh at the negative "nancy" who is so offended by the shirts being for boys... funny thing is he/she? has another post about having some Precious Moments figurine... which just made me giggle.

and I think men in pink = hot. My husband has some pink shirts and ties - i'm a huge fan.

I have a 6 year old DD, a 5 year old DD, and a 3 year old DS. I ABSOLUTELY would put him in one of those shirts, especially when his sisters are all dressed up from the BBB. I think it would be adorable. I agree, get some dark glasses. The walkie-talkies are a cute idea, but I vote for less stuff to keep track of when in the parks. I'm sure you'll get lots of (good) comments while you're there. Enjoy your trip!

If you post a tr or ptr, let me know! Would love to see how this goes!

Those shirts are adorable!! I've never seen the movie, but I definitely don't think you need to in order to understand the idea...obviously they are princess protectors! So cute, and I expect that you will get a FABULOUS response from the princesses at the meal and all over the park. They will definitely get it and be very grateful to your boys for being so brave and helpful. I do think the sunglasses would be an awesome addition, but even without them, what a great idea!!

I saw the tshirts, read your post and automatically thought - oh the boys are like the bodyguards for the princesses...HOW CUTE! I love doing different things that involve our whole table! Those are really special!

I love the shirts! We're taking a trip with some friends in September, and I think the boys need them!

Me too, I think the idea is HILARIOUS, especially if you add the dark sunglasses & an actual sister/princess.

We're headed out in just a few days. If I'd had more time I might've been tempted to do one of these for my nephew's 1st trip - he's 18 months & I think that would be a RIOT. :thumbsup2

I absolutely love this idea! It's so cute and I think people at Disney will get it and love it:) I have three boys and would defiantly put them in these shirts....I wish I thought of it for our last trip when both my girls still wanted to dress like princesses and have their two brothers wear these shirts. Great idea:thumbsup2

That is what I got from them, people try to make trouble on these boards. I mean protection agency? It means they protect something. I think they are SUPER cute! Have fun!

I'm not trying to get any response - I don't care what others think - it's just a fun thing for my boys to pretend the are agents in an agency that protects princesses - not too hard to get. I think you are reading WAY too far into it.

and yes- there is a Disney movie with a princess protection program, that has agents who protect princesses as well.

we leave on sunday! I just made these today - super easy with iron on transfers.

We're going to wear these to their princess lunch at Epcot :)

If you don't mind sharing...Where did you get the iron on's? :)

I don't get the joke. A criminal in a "criminal protection agency" has their appearance changed so not to be recognized by other criminals who would do them harm. Are the boys supposed to be princesses dressed as boys so their wicked stepmother won't recognize them?

I'm not sure you're going to get the response you were expecting. "Which undercover princess are you and who are you hiding from?"

It looks more like a shirt you'd give to a little girl who doesn't want to dress up like a princess, but still wants to be treated like one.

"Princess Protection Program" was a movie for boys or girls?

This is a Disney Protection Program T-Shirt:

Do you think it's for a boy or girl?

First though that popped into my mind is people work for an agency and participate in a program.

OP- I "got it" on your original post.
Have a great time!

I think some people need to learn how to recognize and not feed the trolls. The profile is less than a month old and named Jonathan Swift, a satirist best known for suggesting that the solution to the Irish Potato Famine was eating babies. Obvious troll is obvious.

Princess protection agency does come across as sexist, even if it was Disney's idea to begin with. But then, I am very protective of messages that suggest female weakness as "cute".

How stiff are the iron-ons? My kids would never be comfortable in a shirt with a stiff transfer on the front and back. They'd trap heat and be sweaty and uncomfortable. Do they wash well, soften up, etc?

I totally saw your children while at Disney last week. Too funny. I remember seeing this shirt and thinking it was cute.

These are cute! I was going to do a Princess shirt for myself and Prince-in-Training shirts for my boys, but I may do these instead!!

Those are seriously freaking adorable! If I had seen this before our trip, I would have stolen the idea and my 2 year old would have worn one. :rolleyes1

GoldieLocks5, those are adorable shirts!!! I'm lovin' the "gallantry" aspect of it. Boys learning to be protectors...little men. Terrific. Have fun on your trip! I like what a PP said about giving them dark glasses (on the order of MIB!).
