For Desert Inn for 2 nights at a rate of $59 each night in May. I want to stay onsite but cannot justify paying $200+ a night when family all lives 10-20minutes away. $60 a night I don't mind one bit! They were not having any good AP rates on our dates at the Disney resort. So yay, we get to stay within walking distance!

How exciting for you. We are planning to go in October and I am waiting for the Desert Inn and Suites rates to come out. I will book that day for the best rates possible. I would also love to stay on site but it is just TOO much money!!

Oh my gosh! How did you get such a good rate? We are going end of April, and cheapest I could find was $99 for suite, and $79/night for standard. Who did you book through please?

I just looked online at their website. Then I called and he asked if I had AAA or Entertainment and told him yes (we do) and he gave me the same rate of $59. Just a standard room.

We have an Entertainment book, but they aren't listed in it. Maybe I'll call them back again. The rate I got was through their website, b/c when I called them last time, they said a rate that was $40 more a night than on the web.

OK, I just called them back (guess it depends who answers their phone on what they tell you b/c last night he said they offer no kind of discounts). This guy said they do take the Entertainment card, but it was the same $99 rate I got on the web. Oh well, win some lose some.

Sorry you could not get a better rate, maybe just keep checking. Still $79 is not bad really. Good luck!!!princess:
