Made My Mind Up!!!

Ok I have made my mind up, I am changing our 4 day Wonder cruise next August and moving it to the August 19th 2006, 7 day special cruise with 2 days at Castaway Cay. Yipeee

We are so excited and can not wait to do a 7 day on the magic with 2 days at Castaway. I have to totally rethink my plans now as I have never been to Cozumal and Costa Maya. Anybody have any tips for me on these 2 ports of call?.

I think you made a great choice!! We will also be on the August 19th cruise--me and my bunch--there are going to be 11 of us.

There are quite a few DISers on this cruise also. It should be a blast.

I've never been to Costa Maya, but can highly recommend the Royal Dolphin Swim at Dolphin Discovery in Cozumel. You can book with them directly at www.dolphindiscovery.com

We have also done the Disney excursion with the jeeps and that was a blast as well!

I 2nd the royaldolphin swim. It is only a few dollars more than the encounter offered thru DCL and it is soooo much better! We did this in October and it was worth every single penny!

We just got back from the 9/27 hurricane Magic with a stop in Costa Maya. In my opinion, it was disgusting. There were 3 ships in port which made it very crowded. The pool at the port was filled and looked pretty grimy. The beach is full of rocks, so while you can sun yourself, you can't swim. Most of the people from the Magic that we saw in the morning at Costa Maya were back on the ship by lunch. No great shopping here either.
