Made my ADRS today Feb 25 - Wait not too bad

Well, I was worried about the wait after some of the threads that I read. I had to take my kids to school, so I wasn't able to call until 8am CST. I was on hold for 30 minutes and on the phone a total of 58 minutes. We have been numerous times and this was the first time that I did not get everything that I wanted and at the times I wanted. I was not able to get Le Cellier. Best offer was 8:45pm with split tables. There are only 4 of us. So, that didn't work. I am sure that I will eventually get something after cancellations.

I was slightly annoyed (well, more aggravated, but nothing major) with one aspect. We check into Beach Club on May 26. I assumed that I would get to make my 90 + 10 but I couldn't because we have a split stay. We move to the Contemporary on June 2. The system would not let me make reservations past June 2. So, now I have to call back and do it all again on March 4 for the rest of our trip. I guess I just assumed since there is no break in the vacation that I could make all my ADRs off of the Beach Club reservation. Again, it is an inconvience that slightly annoys me, but doesn't ruin my day.

So, on the positive, I didn't have to wait hours and the CM that I spoke to was SUPER helpful and polite. Well, send me happy thoughts that I will, in the end, get my Le Cellier ADR and that by March 4 (when I have to call again) the system will be even faster.

I called yester day at 6am and din't gert LeCellier But I too am hoping to get it later after cancellations! You're lucky you didn't have to wait long! I was on hold over three hours, but I stayed on there because I really wanted LeCellier! Oh well.

Called promptly at 7:00 ET and got closed message but got in immediately on redial. Waited about 1-2 minutes for CM but then she had to transfer me becasue my reservations were for May 26 and after.

Waited about 18 minutes to be picked up at new reservation center. Got decent times for stay but was unable to get LaCellier dinner or Sci-Fi lunch. Also, Chef Mickey's was a bit later than preferred (8:45 confirmed).

CM was great but it still took 50+ minutes for 7 nights of ADRs. Also, at the 1st possible moment of the 1st possible day (under the new system) I was still not able to get some thing I wanted. The process could be improved.

I didn't have too much of a problem either. I called right at opening. CM answered, I immediately told her I needed to be transferred for anything after May 26 and was transferred. A CM picked up immediately. I got everything I wanted around the times I wanted, and I was off the phone within 20 minutes.

Yesterday I called to book Chef Mickey's and I waited 58 minutes before getting a CM. My advice to anyone else waiting to book is to call first thing in the morning and just hang tight.

That is valuable piece of information. I have a split stay in July too. I was thinking that I would be able to take care of all six days at one time. Now I know. Thank You!!!!

Do you think this is like this to encourage people not to resort hop during a stay, or just a programming glitch?

I am really not sure. We check out of the Beach Club on June 2 and check into the Contemporary. The CM tried to make a reservation for June 3 and the system would not let her. She said that apparently I could not make reservations for later than the June 2 check-out date. She did try though. If anyone hears of anything different or has a different experience, I would love to hear it. Fortunately, the reservations that I had for the end of the trip are not usually hard to get ones.

I also know that the CM said that she was suppose to be able to search for all Le Cellier openings during our trip, but her computer would not let her. She tried several times but eventually had to resort to a day to day search. It took quite a while and I still did not end up getting the Le Cellier ADR.

Sounds like a program glitch. Maybe they will iron this out. Hopefully.
