Made Fp+ March 3rd for trip 30 days out...not happy

I know chances of SDD were slim to none, but surprised at how late in the afternoon others I got were.
Now do I refresh every chance I get for the next 30 days in hopes to modify for earlier, try each morning at 7:00am to modify the ones I have?
Just wondering if more are released each day or should I just make my plan using what I have & save my sanity for the next 30 days.

I would keep checking everyday but try not to drive yourself crazy (easier said than done, I know). Maybe try for rope drop and keep your ADRs at a minimum in case you get lucky! Fingers crossed for you!

I just went during a non super busy time and was on in the morning of 60 days out and I couldn't secure SDD or FOP until towards the end of my trip (arrived on a Sunday and got them for Thursday and Friday). So I could only imagine what it is like for the 30 dayers.

You don't have to sign up. They don't show times, but they do have an A = afternoon, E = evening, M = morning designation within each day on the calendar.

I’ve been watching availability for the last couple of months. For whatever reason, availability jumped just in the last couple of weeks. I got SDD at 60+2 today, FOP at 60+1 and a SDMT at 60. But true, 30 days for those is hard to come by.

That’s a bit different than what I see. On mine, I pick the park, pick the ride I want to check. I can check any ride in any park. If you sign up, you get more options. It’s free.

Yeah, they have two versions, but the one I linked two has all of the 'relevant' 60-day rides. And doesn't need an account (which I like).

When I booked yesterday for our 6 night stay starting 5/2, there was lots of availability for SDD at 60+2. Even today there are openings starting after the 4th.

Don't give up if you see that. MDE has been really glitchy. I looked this morning and 2 of the May days we had 7DMT booked for said there was no more availability (which I thought was odd). It says BTMR had no availability one of the days too. I went back to check and now it's showing 7DMT available after noon. If a ride ride you want isn't showing available check back in half an hour or an hour or even later in the day.

On a related and weird note, for the second year in a row Star Tours showed unavailable when I went to book it at 60 days. A couple hours later it was back to its appropriate all day availability.

Thank you. Yeah two of us have been checking and we were checking other days. For me I'm ok passing on it. I've ridden it a few times already. I do prefer it at night though. So I was even looking at the end of the night. I wish you luck with everything you have to request too. We have our sept trip coming up too, That one should be fun.

Can you please tell me what you did get and what time? We are staying offsite in early May.

Also can you let us know how your MK booking day goes? Curious about BTMR and PP availability in the mornings.

I did get SM & BTMRR but they are at bad late afternoon times, & Splash is in the late morning.
As of now we’re going from one side of the park to the other 3 times in a row to ride rides.
I went ahead & booked those because that’s all I could get, & in hopes of moving the times around by modifying—crossing fingers.
The worst part though was when I was online at 7 AM this morning both the MDE app and Disney World’s websites were constantly crashing. I was just in shock at how poor they both performed. I was in the middle of modifying one fast pass and got the dreaded Olaf screen after I hit continue—which caused me to lose that fast pass altogether.
I sent an email out of frustration-I’m sure it won’t do any good, but in my “already running late for work to get fastpasses” irritation—shooting off an email made me feel a little better, lol.

That must’ve been 30. Right now there seems to be plenty of availability at 60. My window was Sunday and had no problem getting FOP, SDD and SDMT whenever I needed it.

Oh that does stink. Not sure if it helps but park hour updates should happen mid march and the last batch was thru apr 6. So if hours change on your dates then new fp should be released.

Good to see, but I dont know what happened on our days, they are just not there.

if someone else is seeing SDD as available, it should be available for you too. Do you have a different TSL FP booked? No availability for 7 full days doesn't sound right.

Sorry to hear the FPs didn't work out very well for you.
Booking at only 30 days makes it difficult to get any FPs for the popular rides.
And being there during Spring Break didn't help you any.
As others have said, keep checking as people do cancel. Expecially the day of or day before.
