Made amazing drive time from Ontario!

We ended up leaving at 10:15ish on Saturday night. DH had spent the evening sleeping. We drove the I75 route, and thank GOD for the book! Somehow, when I updated our GPS last time, it only did Canada and the border states! So it had no record of any southern states. We ended up getting a new cord for the GPS and managed to fix it at our hotel stop that night.

We made it to Marietta by about 2:00 and hit the Marietta diner for lunch (one more Triple D stop under our belts). We drove until about 5:00, and stopped for the night in Macon, Georgia.

Back on the road by 8, we made it to our off-site hotel by 1:30!

We were so thrilled with our time, DH said he would totally aim for leaving around that time again.

That was the best part....only 5 hours or so left to do the next day!

The trip home will be another story though....not leaving until the morning on the Tuesday, so two full days of driving.....

Sounds like a good trip!

I cant wait to drive down one time ... take our time and hit up some spots on the way down and then follow that up with a different route on the way home!

DD is only 6 right now though so once shes a bit older and can occupy herself in the car a bit better will will be making the voyage
