I booked the trip in January, so it seems like forever ago!!

I got everything I wanted except for LeCellier. The only availability during our trip is our Sea World day. I would have switched things around, but I didn't think it would be worth the hassle. I like the fact that there are MK Pm EMH and Wishes on our SW day.....that way we can use a park ticket to go to EMH if we have the energy. Otherwise, we'd need a hopper if we switched things to hit Epcot that day just to eat at LeCellier. I booked Garden Grill instead. We've eaten there before and had a great experience, I wanted to try something new instead, but I'm happy with it. My other choice was Coral Reef, but I think we'll eat with the sharks at SW instead.

It was so hard to let the LeCellier ressie go...........please tell me I didn't make a mistake! lol

No experience with Garden Grill, but given the ages of your kids, you can't go wrong with EMH at MK. We're seriously thinking about dropping our hoppers as well, and arranged our ADRs to allow for it should we decide. It saves enough to throw in some extra activities on site - though your trip to SeaWorld sounds wonderful :)

If you were booking at 190 days, there should have been available times at Le Cellier. I checked them myself this morning and there were quite a few openings for Dec 10. Even for Dec 9.

Our dates are Nov 30 - Dec 8. I was trying to get Dec 4. They did have openings on Dec 6 tho (for lunch anyway).

I just want to throw in my 2c. I think you were very wise. I am sorry you didn't get your Le Cellier ressie and you know you can keep checking in case something opens up, but I don't really see the sense in reshuffling a whole day (or more) just to get one meal.

That's a lot of little pirates you have there - just looked at your signature. :)

IMHO...you definitely did not make a mistake. I have Le Cellier reservation...go there every trip...it is fine but definitely not the be all and end all of restaurants (thought I do love that darn soup!!!!)

Now, I made a reservation at the Coral Reef on the exact same day and time as my Le Cellier meal because there are rumors floating around about it changing to a signature restaurant and thus being taken out of commission for an extended period to re do it. Some have mentioned it may be as soon as this fall/early winter when that might happen. Hence don't change your plans just to go here because with all the rumors floating around there is no gurantee at this point in time it will still be open when we all get there in December...I hope it is and the rumors are just that but ya never know with Disney....

Ah. If you're staying on property, you could have started to book these 10 days ago with the new system.
