Made ADR's for party of 7...now two can't come

Do we need to get new ADR's? Most of the places we want are now fully booked, so I don't want to give up my ADRs even though part of our group isn't coming. Do I need to call Disney Dining, or will it be okay without the others?

it will be fine...you are subtracting not adding. Just let the hostess know at check in that your party size is now 5.

Dont worry about it at all. Same thing happened to us at Boma last year and we were seated no problem.

I would check if you have any prepaid reservations or reservations for which you had to leave a credit card guarantee. You might be charged for the no-shows. Otherwise you should be OK leaving them alone.

Even though you don't HAVE to do this, if you do, it opens up a table for however many people you drop. Think about the folks that can't get ADRs now because they were all taken. You'll be doing some family of 3 a big favor.

That's what I was thinking I would do. I know every time something we are dying to get opens up, I am so grateful for the kinds person who was considerate enough to cancel so we could get the spots!

Going from 5 to 6 won't be a big issue either. You'd likely be taking the same table-size with either number in your party.

For all changes in size (up and down), I always recommend to attempt to find a new reservation for the different party size at the same (or close enough) times, but not to worry if you can't find them all. (And, as Nala mentioned above, if reducing the party size on a pre-paid or CC held reservation, you're going to want to get that worked out as well!)
