Made a scrapbook framed gift

I made a scrapbook page for my DS soccer coach as a year end gift. Thanks to someone posting earlier the idea and where to buy a 12x12 frame. It came out pretty nice although I'm still waiting for the frame to arrive. Hopefully by Saturday. (Hope he likes it.) It was kind of a crazy season with most of it eliminated by the sniper, but it was our first season as soccer parents and I enjoyed making a few pages for my DS book too.

Which frame did you end up buying? I've got alot of these to do for Christmas presents & need to order them asap!

It was from Pageframes Designs. When I receive it I'll let you know if I like it. I think it was about $13.

Does anyone know if Michaels or any other stores carry them? I'm doing one as a last minute gift and don't really have time to order one.

I was just looking in the Michaels ad, and yup, they have them! They're shown with the other shadow boxes/collector cases and are 50% off! They're called Memory Frames. They're in unfinished wood, so they can be stained or painted. HTH!

What a great idea. I remember people talking about them before. I may keep that in mind for end of the year gift for my DD teacher. Last year I made a scrap book for her teacher, too much work....but a nice page and frame is doable!

I'll have to check out the ones at Michaels, because the one I ordered wasn't so great. You just slipped the scrapbook page in the side. There wasn't really a frame to it. Oh well, live and learn.
