As some people may have heard Disney just changed the date of the pin pursuit. My family has been planing on this, and they just changed it with 10 days left 'till the origanal time. I think this is mad that Disney only gave that much time left, and people have vacations planned around this event.

The new date for the I Conquered The World pin pursuit is August 18th and it's running through September 2002 (in part to coincide with the September pin event at Epcot). Info is at the www.officialdisneypintrading.com web site. The original dates were August 4 through August 31.

The original information has been public since the beginning of July -- just long enough for some pin traders to make plans to go to WDW early in the pursuit. It's good news for those who will be there in September during the pin event, but bad news for those who planned to be there August 4 through August 17 just for the pin pursuit.
