Not sure if we'll have the energy by the end of the day, but I was wondering about the Mad Tea Party. My children are ages 7-12 and love to dance, but what's the vibe? Will my littles get lost among teens and young adults?
Is there a set show or does it just run from the times listed in the schedule? 6:00PM to 10:00PM Fri, Sat, Sun.

TIA.

I think Mad T Party is good for all ages, but generally it is more of a young adult/adult crowd. There is a fair amount of liquor, but I've not come across anyone that was drunk. In terms of dancing, the area closest to the stage can be pretty crowded, but if you move further back there is usually open area. I've seen every age in the crowds at Mad T.

The band plays on the hour, except at the start of the party. The first set is usually about 5 minutes after the posted start time (so if Mad T starts at 6:00 pm, the first set will be at 6:05 pm). After that, they start on the hour. When the band isn't playing, there is a DJ (the White Rabbit) playing music or other entertainment acts on the second stage.

Good question. I didn't realize kids could go. My son is younger but he's a dance fiend. What kind of music do they play there?

I would describe it pop from about 5-years ago, with a few newer songs. I've heard them do things like Journey's Don't Stop Believin', Alicia Keys' Girl on Fire, Blondie's Call Me, and more like these. They're all pretty "tame" and if there are any swear words in the original song, they change it to be family friendly.

My DD's 8 and 11 love the Mad T Party. They are not so much dancers but they enjoy the performances and the music. They LOVE the air hockey tables! They glow! There is an arcade too. There is another stage where they do performances, in between sets, that are fun to watch. There is alcohol but I have never seen anyone overdo it. I usually get them Sprites with the glow cubes in them for fun! It is an interesting place to hang out and relax a bit before continuing on with the evening. Have fun!

My daughter didn't like it at age 11. It was too loud for her, and she's not a dancing type.

A group of kids next to us got chased out by Security for under-age drinking. I think they had some 21+s with them buy the drinks, then they were giving those drinks to the less than 21s in their group.
