Is this still going on? We are planning to head back to DLR in October and will need to adjust our touring to avoid it. We passed through it in 2013 and it was awful for my kids to see. People were not behaving very appropriately. :(

It just closed for the Food and Wine festival. It will probably be replaced by another dance party this summer, but nothing has been announced. Just don't go to that area of DCA at night time.

That's what we're planning to do. We'll have to knock that part of the park out early which will be an interesting dynamic to throw in with RSR FP.

It's a pretty out-of-the-way area. You should probably focus on RSR in the morning (and TSMM if you're interested) and handle the T Party area in the late morning/afternoon, because I can't think of anything that would have major crowds and long lines back there. The only ride is Monsters Inc. and there are a couple shows that usually have daytime schedules anyway. It's a nice area to head toward in the afternoon because everything is in-doors.

We don't buy into the madness of TSM. We often skipped it at WDW. In fact, DH had been to WDW three times and never been on it. His first spin was at DCA. We did it last November in WDW and he said he was glad we always skipped it. It wasn't worth it.

Well that's good then, since it means you only have one early-morning priority to worry about (RSR), and then you have the rest of the day do what you'd like in the Hollywood area before nighttime. Have fun!

Not sure when you're going, but just keep an eye on the times guide. The dance parties are usually not until around 8pm or something. As others said there isn't much back there. The Frozen Sing-A-Long (ending soon?) is over there and Monster's Inc. Nothing else is in the direct area. The one time we wandered into the dance party the line for Monsters was incredibly long. During the middle of the day Monsters is usually a walk on.

Headed out in the fall. :)
