Mad dash to Anna/Elsa after 8:05 CRT breakfast?

Hey everyone! Has anyone had a successful (or unsuccessful) experience dashing to Anna/Elsa after an 8:05 CRT reservation? We *do* have an Anna/Elsa FP+, but it is at a pretty inconvenient time for us. Obviously we are keeping it and plan on using it - but we have an early breakfast reservation and I wondered if it's even possible to get there a touch before the rope drop crowd.

May I add to OP's question?
Robo - do you have a map of A/E related to CRT, BOG, & CP?

When we left our CRT reservation last year we could line up ahead of rope droppers, they were holding people at the carousel. They direct the crowd around the carousel the long way so be sure to line up as far around it as they'll let you go rather than the point closet to PFH. We weren't headed to A&E but it looked like we would have been at the front of the pack had we tried.

The OP probably needs an update on how the BOG breakfast people figure into the equation now.

So good to know about lining up around the carousel! Hmm - BOG folks would be even better situated - wouldn't they? Any idea where they let those guests wait after breakfast/before park open?

I don't think they'll be so many BOG people that it is actually worth worrying about. IF you only got CRT to have an advantage you could look at BOG instead

DO remember to get out of CRT quickly you should ask your server for your check as soon as you see them (generally when they are taking your drink order). Get the check ASAP and pay (cash, cc or dining plan or whatever) ASAP then you can leave as soon as you have seen the last princess (no waiting around for the check etc)

Great question!! What about crystal palace? I know it is farther away, but it is also a buffet so we could get out of there more quickly, I'm assuming.

Hopefully by then (Monday) we will have already met our inconvenient timed fast pass A&E (10pm Saturday evening). I'm just curious in case we have a meltdown/rain out/something else that causes us to cancel Saturday.

If you want to meet all the characters at CP, it can take a lOOOONG time.

How long does breakfast take from being seated to seeing all the princesses to actually walking out the door? Maybe we are slow eaters, but a TS meal is usually an hour for us.

We're doing this experience for the first time in a just a bit ourselves - but our estimate on time was that we needed 1.5 hours to play it safe. Maybe that's way too long?

Anyone been there recently that can comment on what they think the average group spends at this meal?

I doubt the small group from BOG will make a huge difference. They are held on the other side of the carousel so are a little closer.
CRT is pre paid so you don't have to worry about the check. We were a party of six and I was the only one aware of the time but did not have to rush my group along at all and we were out ahead of the crowd coming up main street by about two minutes. We had an 8:15 reservation but went to check in for 8 and we were one of the first ten parties seated.

BOG/CRT/CP Guests are all being held in the same "Carousel area".

There are CMs stationed to keep Guests in that area.

There are some toward SDMT and some toward A&E,so if guest wants to do SDMT,they would want to "hang out" with the SDMT CMs,etc.

I would try to be in Fantasyland by 8:45.:)

Hi Everyone! I am new here and my family and I are going in May so very soon! We were unable to secure A&E FP at a reasonable time that my 2-1/2 year old could make. We have BOG reservations @8:15 (non-EMH day) and I am wondering if that would help our chances to get in line for A&E before the rope drop guests? And since my son is young enough to not need a magicband but so little that he will get bored and not know why he has to wait in line... can my husband walk around with him out of line till it's almost our turn for pics? Trying to keep this a happy time for everyone while I/we wait in line. Thank You!
