Thanks. It was nice. My oldest daughter Kacy made me dinner and a beautiful cake.

This is crazy trip report. I kind of abandoned it because there is nothing definite on it anymore.

Time to dust off this old relic and get going again. I wasn't going to plan because everytime I do something happens but yesterday after talking with my darling husband the plans for a December trip started up again. Yay for DH! Honestly I had all but given up on going because everytime I planned something the dates were wrong or whatever. Then add in Kody's health problems, first the headaches and then the Mono I got a little side tracked, but as of yesterday the trip is back in the planning stage. But unless Disney comes up with some outstanding deals we are going to stay offsite. I cannot justify to myself staying for such high prices.

So the dates now that I am shooting for are November 30- December 5, 2009. A somewhat holiday trip. Disneyland will be all dressed up for the holiday without the huge crowd. And I have a friend who is going to the resort for the first time and she is hoping to go for her 60th birthday so I am going to help her plan. Boy am I excited for her. I cannot even imagine waiting that many years to go. The ride that she most wants to ride is the teacups a ride she has wanted to ride since childhood. So wish me luck on my trip and planning hers. I am going to try to get her to join Disboards there is nothing better to help build that excitement.

Now I am off to plan and play on the internet. I will keep you all informed.

I swear if this falls through I am going to hurt someone. But, I think I finally hit home with my husband about how important this trip is to me. He wants a new bicycle for racing he already has several expensive ones so I made him feel really guilty. Not nice I know but it worked none the less.

I could not be more pumped, I just read on the Disneyland site they are going to be doing the holiday layover on the Haunted Mansion. Now I know that there are a lot of people out there that do not like the holiday layover and the whole Nightmare Before Christmas layover on the HMH but we love it!

I could not be more pumped, I just read on the Disneyland site they are going to be doing the holiday layover on the Haunted Mansion. Now I know that there are a lot of people out there that do not like the holiday layover and the whole Nightmare Before Christmas layover on the HMH but we love it!

I don't understand the negativity towards the holiday layover on HMH. I never will. I'm so glad I at least got to experience it once. It takes nothing away from my love of HM, but only adds to it because it's just another fun way. That's so exciting! I wish I could see it again, but so long as I'm in retail anytime between October and January will absolutely not be happening.

Poor guy he has two different retail jobs, one is as an assistant manager of a tux shop and he can't take off Spring and summer because of weddings, and his other jobs is at Sears and he works in the seasonable department and there is never a down time there.

Thankfully, I don't work and DH doesn't do retail, he makes plastic bottles. And the kids, well we can do home study for the week we are going. A family needs vacation, especially the Mom who is never off.

I loooove the NBC overlay! I cannot talk about it enough

It does seem somewhat lacking when its not, but thats just me. I also agree on IASW! I looove it all Xmas-ed up! So cute !!
