Macy's parade at Universal

I am really excited about this new parade! I was wondering if anyone had any idea as to what time of the day this parade is going to occur? I am thinking it's probably not a nighttime pararde and will probably be in the afternoon sometime.....Has anyone seen any times for this parade?

It will probably be daytime, but late in the day. They'll want to keep people in the park as long as possible, so it shouldn't be until towards dinner.

I saw somwhere that the parade was to start at dusk. Also people can sign up to be balloon handlers, but don't know what the process is or where to do so.

ANd I think one family each day gets picked to sit with Santa Claus. That would be sooooo much fun. I'll have to keep digging around. Anyone else out there have more info???

The parade is scheduled, as of now, to start at 4:30pm everyday. That may change based on the actual time of sunset. They want to do it at dusk. Guests will have the opportunity to be a balloon wrangler and walk along with the parade, but it may be more work than fun, and there may be physical requirements, ie: 125lb min., etc. Probably won't be able to sign up in advance, they'll be looking for volunteers during the day.

Kicking off the Macy Parade on a Friday 13th. Isn't that bad mojo?
And holding the balloon ropes does sound like too much work.
