Macy's gift cards from Hotwire Savings Club

Does anyone know if you can use the Macy's gift cards at Burdines? I know that they are related to each other, but I am not sure what the gift cards say. These are the cards you can purchase from Hotwire.

I just checked the web and Burdines is a Macy's store. If you do a google search, it will come up Burdines-Macy's AND the gift card link says Macy's for the cards. So, I would say YES. I bought a bunch of these to use at Lazarus-Macy's and they are wonderful. I may just have to buy some more ;-)

Did you use these at Lazarus yet?? I was wondering if the gift cards might even say Lazarus and Burdines on them. Kind of like the Toys R Us cards actually have all of the R Us logos on them.

What kind of deal are the gift cards? I can't seem to find out the info and I don't want to join until Jan. Thanks!

You buy a $25 gift card and then you are credited back $5 to your account at the end of the month. So a $25 gift card ends up only costing you $20. Provided you stay a member until your credit is deposited.

I did use a couple this weekend. That's why I want to buy more I got an extra 20% off my clothing! Plus, I want to give a couple out for Christmas gifts.

The front of the card says "Macy's" . I don't have one with me so I can't check the back. My guess is that it doesn't list any other names since they are trying to change all the store's names to just Macy's.

I bought these gift cards for the first time. The credit showed on my credit card by the 5th of the following month.
