Macy's coupon!! NO!

I'm so mad!! I just checked our paper for the Macy's $10 off coupon and this year it is $10 off OF A PURCHASE OF $20 OR MORE!

Bugger!!! I was hoping it would be $10 off anything like it always has been.

Does it exclude doorbusters? If not, that might work for me, as I'm always trying to buy sweaters for my family and they are always doorbusters and therefore they don't let me use the coupon.

Are they a little more relaxed on what you can use the copuon for?
I have given up on their $10.00 coupons as it is so frustrating tryng to find something you can actually use the coupon for.

I just returned from buying a bunch of more papers. I just saw the $10 and figured it was the same as last years coupon. I was so excited when I saw that it was good Friday AND Saturday since I cannot go shopping on Black Friday. And then I read this post. I am sooo disappointed! Oh well/

There's no Van Heusen so I guess I could get dress shirts, and I had wanted to get a sweater for my BIL and cotton/spandex v neck shirts for my sister, so we're going to go and see how things are. Nothing I'm psyched about for the early early stuff... but I remember last year it was pretty dead by 9 or so because the rush had died down.
