All, I am not sure if you are aware what macros are, but its a very simple yet complicated way to get credits. Macros are a series of key strokes that can be repeated to do basic functions, ex click ok, click down, crash the boat all automatically. Basically if we can figure out the correct macros we can ned automatically all day while we are at work. I have been able to get the macros to click the buttons by themselves, however the vmk screen wont recognize the arrow commands. Anyone have any luck with this?

Actually puck, you dont NEED the arrow keys. I mean i can understand it would be much faster, but the boat will eventually hit enough rocks and all that the game will end anyway. lots of people "set it and forget it" while they are doing work, and just pop back in to start another round. So if you have a macro that can get through all the clicks, then first of all congrats, and second of all it should work fine. :confused3

I have only written a few macros and jeez, that was probably 10-15 years ago, so i'd be totally lost now lol.

While this has crossed my mind as well, using any type of scripting or macro program is blatantly against VMK Values. If you refer to them on the home page, you will see that this is stated as the very first point made. Besides, if it was THAT easy to get credits, rare items would never exist! It is part of the challenge, and fun of VMK! :wizard:

SorcMickey is right, you dont wan to use macros on vmk. NOT a good idea.

basically it's a program that will run a series of keystrokes automatically, for lack of a better explanation.

The macros i wrote years back were very primative. I was involved with an online gaming group and every week we would have a tournament and we would have to type all of the rules in for people to see. (about 5 pages of text). Well i made a macro that automatically typed it in each week, just hit one key and whammo.

But i would have no idea how to get it to do mouse clicks, nor is it a good idea to try something like that on vmk.

hey jell? may be a good idea to shut this one down too. ;)
