Macraven, hhn ticket question

I just remembered that when i purchased my hhn, and ep pass tix. a week and a half ago or so. That the representative told me they would ship sometime in sept why? Is this the usual for hhn tix? If so, why do they do this, why not send them right away? Anyhow, I noted my credit card was charged the day, I made the order. Thanks in advance for answering.
