Can anyone tell me if the Mac Volo or Triumph would give my almost 45in. tall 4yr. old head support if he fell asleep, or would he be too tall? Thanks

My dd is over 45 inches (she just turned 5). She fit in the Volo well, did not like the Triumph, said the seat was too short, and liked the Quest. In both the volo and quest, the seat goes up well above the top of her head. The quest is padded a little on the sides. I got a great deal on ebay.

We got a Volo for DS 4, 42". He fits very well in and it is so easy to push. Try looking on ebay if you want a good deal.

Our 7 month old is in the 75th percentile for height and we got a Volo. It looks like there will be plenty of room to grow since he actually seems kinda short sitting in it right now. We got ours for $70 on eBay and included the rain cover and two different colors of seats/hoods; the seller was supper fast in shipping the item out and it was NIB.

Could anyone give me an idea of how much stuff they can fit in their volo basket? I am worried about it not having enough storage space. We usually like to take bottled water, and I would like to throw my baggalini down there at times as well! Thanks

My guy is suddenly 44", but his head has been partially above the top of the Volo seat since he was 42". Long torso. If he really falls asleep in it, it's just barely supporting his head, and with this suddenly inch he got, I'm not sure if it'll be good for him at all.

Regarding storage space, it's not big, when the kid is in the seat they take up part of the space b/c the seat goes further down, and there's a weight limit for the basket anyway.

I don't remember how tall my ds7 was last trip - he was 5.5 at the time but his entire head was over the top from about the bottom of his ears. He looked really funny when he was asleep and his head fell back.

As for the basket, I can fit a small diaper bag for the child I babysit in it -- fills it completely.

We've had a Triumph for a few years now. DD is 5 yo, about 43 inches and around 41 lbs. She's still so comfy in it that if we recline it at some point during the day she'll nod off for a half-hour or so. She also falls asleep in it every night on the way out of the parks. I think we'll get another trip or two out of it at this point, simply because she seems to have slowed down a little with the big growth spurts. It's just her 'zone' now and she likes her space :)

Well, I went ahead and ordered a Volo from ebay for $70 total! I sure hope it works for him...if not, be on the lookout for a turqoise(he picked the color..lol..he said it was "blue") Volo for sale on ebay soon!! Thanks
