We have approval but just wanted to check here first. Is the Techno XT the best stroller in the Maclaren line for our 3 yr old? Or is the quest better? Thanks in advance.

For a 3 year old I think the Quest is best. The Techno would be better for a very small baby since it reclines all the way, but for a 3 yo, the 4 position Quest works great, and it is a bit lighter.

The Techno XT also has a adjustable handles - my DP and I are quite tall and the Quest is a little uncomfortable to push. It's much lighter than the XT, though.

If you're short/of average size then get the Quest, it's a great stroller, we love ours. Plus it cost about 25% less than the XT does and comes in much nicer designs!

I remember researching the two about 8 months ago, but don't remember why I chose the Techno XT over the other. My DS was 1 at the time, now is 2yo. It may have been for the adustable handles, my DH has a very long stride and prefers the stroller handles longer than I do.

Yep, I was just going to vote for the Quest as long as you or your DH aren't super tall or have really long strides.

When I look online I can't see any difference between the two other than the bigger wheels. We live on a gravel road and big wheels would help a lot.

What are the differences? Money is not the issue so we can buy anything we want.

Thanks, April

If you're going to use this stroller on anything other than smooth surfaces, you'll want the Techno. The techno has a bigger hood, adjustable handles, slightly larger seat, deeper recline, slightly larger basket, larger wheels, and sometimes a cold-weather boot. Of course, you'll also have a heavier stroller and larger fold. The Quest wheels are small and can be a pain on uneven pavement or rougher surfaces.

The lady came to our house yesterday and we had to give her the order so because we live on a gravel road we are getting the techno xt. I sure wish it had nicer fabric design, but the bigger wheels were what made our decision. DH
will be folding and carrying at WDW so the weight will be ok.

Thanks for all the help. It will take about 3 weeks for the paperwork and process but as long as it is here before we go I am happy. Lets just hope that it gets approved and processed quickly. :Pinkbounc
