maclaren deals?

so ever since the recall I haven't seen any good deals? has anyone seen anything for maclarens or heard anything? we're getting ready for a trip to disney and it's time to upgrade from our travel system.. DS will be 10 months when we go and I don't want to deal with the giant graco

The US Maclaren distributor sells last years models on Ebay. I believe the store name is "babyproductstore". I found out about this from the Budget Board.

I ordered a 2009 model Maclaren Quest recently. I haven't used it yet, but the product looks perfect, and the shipping was fast.

I've purchased two Maclaren Quests on Ebay, new in box. The first one ( blue/gray) was a BIN for $130/free shipping last year and the second one ( chocolate/sky blue) was $170/free shipping, purchased last month after watching daily for a better deal and not finding one. It's odd that the "girl" colors are easier to find and cheaper. The pink/gray ( sister to our blue/gray), for instance is still going for $130. Do a Google search also and you can compare online stores and pricing. Also, decide which model you want. We went with the Quest, for instance, as they have a recline feature. The strollers include the raincover and our newer Quest has a built-in bag on the back.---Kathy

I haven't seen any maclaren deals but another option for you might be the Graco Mosaic or the Graco Ipo. We bought the Mosaic as it has the removable front bar because our daughter liked to hold on the tray of her travel system and lean on it. We took it to Disney with no problems. I think the Ipo has a higher weight limit than the Mosaic. They retail around $100 so its a cheaper option than the maclaren. Just a suggestion Have a great trip!
