Which would you go with? I have to decide by saturday!
My DD is 39lb and 42". I would like her to use it at least the rest of this yr.
We haven't tried anyout yet and will do so on saturday.

If only I knew which one I'll choose and which one you should choose. :goodvibes

I'm sure someone does, though!

And if all else fails, once you try 'em out you'll figure out which works best for you.

We just got the Maclaren Volo and used it for our 8 day trip to Disney and my 3 and 5 year old were fighting over it! They both said it was very comfortable it maneuvered like a dream. I just wish I bought it years ago. It is light and folds up small. I bought it new on ebay for only $65 including overnight shipping. So my vote is for the Maclaren!

Well, I have never tried the IPO, but I LOVE my volo for my son. He is about 36 lbs, and 42 inches... He fits very well in it. They also have an amazing resale value, so that is something to consider if you only plan on using it a year.

We have the IPO. It is mainly for DD1, but DD5 has taken a ride as well. I went with it because it has a lot of the same features as the Mac, but it's cheaper. It is also heavier, but it's mainly DH that will be lugging it onto the buses, so I wasn't that concerned!:rotfl:

The Graco IPO weighs 17 pounds the Volo weighs under 9.

If you go with a Volo I would order a 2007 one on line as that is the only one that comes with the raincover.

I got my Volo for $75/free shipping from www.babye-store.com.

i saw the graco before i saw the mac (not side-by-side), but i thought it was too heavy. (we need two strollers, so the size/weight was an important factor to me)

it does have a padded/reclining seat if that's something you're looking for.

if you want the mac, but think this is a cheaper option-- check on ebay. i bought two new volos with raincovers. the price for each (including shipping) was less than the graco. i also believe the volo holds a bit more weight.

if you have the chance, i would definitely just test them both out.
* i took my DH with me to try them out. he was pushing the kids all over in the mac and said "why didnt we know about these before? now we'll have to have another baby" :rotfl: (our kids are 9, 4, and 2 and we had never used a stroller before because we/they didnt like them-- we use the volos now when we go out or go shopping. so much nicer than chasing/carrying them and they really do like to use them)

I love the Volo mainly because it doesn't have fabric and so my DD sweat less in it. My 57 pound 50.5 inch tall 7 year old rode in it too just a few weeks ago while we were there.

Thanks for all the info. Were leaving this wed. and were driving to BRU to try them both out. I wish I would of known about them sooner because they go for a good price on ebay. I don't have time to have one shiped so I'll just have to pay full price. I havn't seen them in the store yet but from the pictures the MAC seems flimsy. Its only a 20$ difference between the 2 at BRU so it will just depend how DD'd fit in them. I like the fact that my 7 yr old may be able to ride in it when she get tierd.
Thanks for all the advice.

We love our Volo. (thanks to reading suggestions here!)I bought it before our trip last year for my son who was then 4. He is now 5 and about 45 inches and 45 lbs and it pushes great. My dh also likes it because he doesn't have to hunch over..and it's light.
We are bringing it again next week when we leave.

I think that is why I'm leaning towards getting the Volo because my DD is 4 1/2 and we need it for this trip plus when we go in December she already be five.I'm thinking when she turns 5 she'll be around 44 inches and maybe only 45LB. I think she on the smaller side for her age compared to her sister. I want to get the most out of the stroller since I have to pay full retail price.

We looked at the same 2 strollers. We ended up with the IPO because it reclines and the Volo doesnt. We love our IPO. The thing I like about the Volo is the mesh seats. I think that is so much cooler for the child.........tho I dont know how well they hold up over time.

I just tested out the Volo at BRU last night and I am sold. I will definitely be buying them. So easy to push and they just feel nice. I am really excited. Now I just wish I could find the coffee colored ones online; but I can't so I guess I will be getting the silver/turquoise ones.

I just a new 2008 model Volo for my DS4, and mine came with a raincover, from Amazon.

We really like it so far...still not quite used to the folding though??

I just got back from BRU and couldn't wait to come home and post which one I picked! I went with the MAC VOLO:banana: I love it! We went to the zoo after we purchased it so we could try it out it pushed wonderfuly with my DD who is four. My 7yr sat in it for a couple of minutes and it pushed nicely. I had to purchase the coffee color one (thats all they had) and had to pay full price for it(115$) but it was totally worth it. The only thing is I'm not to crazy on how you lock the rear brks and I'll have to learn how to fold it up just cuz its not the traditional umbrella fold up. The more I tried folding it up the easier it got. Plus the best feature of all is how light the stroller is. I had to fold it up to ride the tram at the zoo and to walk down some step and I just threw it on my sholder and I was on my way. When I have more time I'll go into more detail about the difference on the two for others who are deciding between the two. Also mine is the 2008 version and mine didn't come with the rain cover.
Talks for all the great help:)

Also try Albeebaby.com for prices on strollers. They sell Mac strollers and the
prices seems really good. I have never ordered from them and bought the
graco IPO we liked it and had no problems with it but probably would have
bought a Mac if I had found this website before our vacation. The Mac does
weigh less than the Graco.

07 volo brand new with shipping is about $75 at one store on ebay. they had i think 4-5 colors.

Hi M2DD! You and I PM'd a bit recently. I am glad you were able to get to BRU and try the strollers out and I'm really glad you found one you were very happy with! The weight of the IPO is quite a bit more and the steering is just great on the Mac's. I'm sorry we couldn't have scrounged up a coupon for you. At least you should have happy travels with it!!!

Have a GREAT trip!!! Only a few more days...lucky you!
