Just bought the Maclaren Triumph and am a little bit concerned about the storage basket. I'm also concerned about it tipping backwards if we hang anything on the handlebar. I would like to bring a soft cooler with drinks and such and some everyday necessities. Does anyone find this stroller to be suitable for a Disney Vacation?? Any pros and cons for me??
Thanks

Honestly, those are both valid concerns. That basket is hard to get to, and the stroller will tip if you have a bag on it when your child gets out. We used ours at WDW and it was okay, but we weren't thrilled with it. We liked our P3 a whole lot better at Disney, but the downside is that the P3 is heavier and bulkier (but the padding, recline, sunshade and child tray are sooooo nice for WDW).

I have a Mac Quest and it is tippier than other strollers. The basket is also small and hard to get to. I bought the Mac Universal Organizer which hangs from the handles. I havent had any tipping issues with it, though I dont overload it either. Also, as others have suggested, I put one or two 3 lbs ankle weights on the front wheels to counter some weight on the back and that has stopped the tipping when DD isnt in the stroller. It does add weight to the stroller, but 3 or 6 lbs isnt a big deal for me.

We used a Trumph for a large 3yo back in Febuary. We loved how high the handle bar are (we're both around 5'10"). It was easy to use around the parks (folds quickly and easily with practice) and folds quite small for when you get on the bus and tram.

However, without DS in the seat, the weight of almost anything on the handle bars tended to make it tip backwards.

I think it's GREAT for a trip to WDW. You will get used to taking everything off the handlebars once the child gets out. I have a Mac Quest and it will tip with my diaper bag on it once I take DD out. It's a habit now to take my diaper bag off first, then get her out.

No worries :thumbsup2
