MAC used to have a program where you could bring back empties and get something free - anyone have the details on this?

Yep, it's called Back 2 Mac...if you look on their website you can see the details.

Basically if you return 6 empty containers you can get a lipstick (and some other items depending on the location) for free!

GREAT program!

They still do it. I did it about 3 months ago. Its called Back to MAC. You bring back I think 6 empties or old products and you can trade in for a free lipstick. You can do that at any counter even dept stores. I think if you go to a free standing MAC store, you have more options like an eye shadow or a lipgloss, i think. They used to have the details on their website...

I'm going to hold on to my MAC empties then, I forgot about this program! Sweeeet!

I did this last month and yep, it's 6 'empties' and at a MAC store you can get an eye shadow, lipstick or lipgloss (including Lipglass, Lustreglass and Plushglass). Also if there are any limited edition lipsticks out, you can trade your empties for one of those.

Anyone know if they still do this in the UK?? A shopgirl told me last year that they were ending it.

Maaaaan, I thought it was 3! Now I'm bummed! Thanks for the info, though - I may just buy myself a new lipstick tomorrow anyway as a pick me up :-)
