OMG!!! They were out of control! Yelling, screaming, shrieking, fighting, hitting, throwing, running in circles in the studio while mom & dad were being interviewed.

Sure, some will say "of course!" (they're 3) But I thought it was over the top. Anyone else see them on the today show today?

I have 3 kids of my own, so I am not immune to chaos. BUT I'll tell you this, your average preschool / daycare teacher would have had more of a handle on 6 3yo than those parents did!

Yes! I felt so bad laughing, but they were so out of control it was funny :)

One of my friends lives in their new neighborhood in Destin and I have spent the night before. We went over with her parents to introduce ourselves and they were very nice. The kids acted hyper and loud, as kids will be.. :confused3

and I am SURE jon and kate will turn up somewhere on this thread...

maybe it was an extra hyper day during this show?

The mom explained that 3 of them got sick on the flight to NY and the other 3 got sick when they arrived. She said that caused the hyperness and grumpiness.

I briefly caught the segment and let me tell you, if those were my kids I probably would be in some serious trouble, I'd be packing a big ol can of whoop butt. Seriously, did either parent even attempt to discipline the kids at all?

I saw the clip on the news...the kids are adorable, but a little out of control. I hope this family makes it but sometimes I think Bryan would be very hard to live with, he just seems really lazy.

The kids were getting away with what the parents allowed... which was basically WHATEVER THEY WANTED TO DO!! OMG I thought it was a terrible display and a total lack of parenting.

I HOPE it was just an off day, and they dont act like that normally.

I missed the clip, and was watching the show about there move when I still had WE. They did just move in December and went from a lot of support to no support from both sets of parents. In fact, the family reminded me of the Dilley sextuplets--overbearing grandparents inistent that it was the worst idea ever to try and parent their 6 on their own. That being said, they did just relocate in December and while they may have some help--it isn't the kind they had in Arizona leaving them to learn how to parent flying soli.

Additionally--based on some filmed comments they made regarding the Gosselins--it seems they are heck-bent on not being them and that could influence not only their partnership, but their parenting.

That combined with the age of the children could explain their behavior and the observed lack of control. Not to say that is a good thing. Just that I am not surpised after watxgig several episodes. The kids still crawled in bed with them at night...and they were not confident in how to deal with it until the show provided a parenting expert. Not something that would ever happen in another sextuplet household.
