I... I just, well, I kinda.. um... when I saw that thread asking about fairies I thought it was an open invitation to a joke. But I had to resist. So I thought of The Golden Girls... and what Dorothy would say to Sophia when there was a blatant joke ready to be acknowledged. And I posted here.

I had to think of it for quite a while too and be given the explanation... You know the joke was funny once I got more detail. LOL

I got it, but i do watch Golden Girls far too often. I have the soundtracks of the first 4 seasons on my Ipod too. Love listening to them on the drive to work

I catch it on tv all the time even though I owe all the seasons on DVD. I pee my pants everytime I see the one with Rose explaining to Dorothy and Blanche about the herring circus in St. Olaf. You can tell they were trying not to laugh when Dorothy asked if they ever shot a herring out of a cannon!
