M&K love MK! 11/11/11 Our PJ!

Boo! I would have loved to see pics of you in the dresses.
I really like the 3rd and 4th. I guess I am a sucker for the sweetheart neckline. :lovestruc Which one are you leaning more towards?

I love all of the dresses! I actually tried on #2 without the jacket. It looks great on!!

I love the sweetheart neckline too!! It's my fav :)

I'm leaning towards 2 and 4. 2 b/c i love the jacket. 4 is great b/c it's the cinderella dress, but it is so heavy and poofy. When i tried it on, it literally stood up on it's own in the dressing room! There is that much tool! Our reception will be in a restaurant, so it might be a bit much. Most of my friends and fam like dress 1. This was just the first stop tho. Many more to come :)

I know what you mean about the heaviness! My number one requirement for a dress was for it to be comfortable especially since I plan to get my moneys worth and wear it as long away possible!! :rotfl2: I really loved the idea of the poofy princess style and the dyed cranny but I also couldn't handle the heaviness or the scratchy feeling!!

Dress 2 is nice too & Kristilyn says it is very flattering!
Im sure you will rind something you love. Keep us updated.

I :lovestruc Casablanca. Big time. That's the company I went with. I actually tried on the first dress, too. It's flattering to pretty much any shape (it looked good on me, and I'm a bit of a big girl).

I'm sure the shop might have mentioned it (but, just in case they didn't), Casablanca does a hollow-to-hem measurement for free. They measure from the hollow of your neck to the floor, both with and without your shoes on, so they get the length correct. They will also do custom measurement sizing.

And, they NEVER discontinue styles (though, your store might quit carrying them).

Excuse the tangent....I just really LOVE that company....:cutie:

That's really helpful, thanks for the info! The lady told me that they'll adjust the train to the length you want w/o an extra fee and that it goes by 12" increments. But she didn't tell me they measure from you neck to the floor in both heels and bare feet. She did say that they would have to add an additional inch one one of the dresses since i'm tall, but that too was free.

This is just a general wedding dress question. When they take your measurements, are you standing in the dressing room in just your underwear?? That kinda freaks me out!

I think so (at least, that's what they did when I got my bm dress for a wedding last year). To accurately measure for the dress, you should be wearing exactly what you will be on your wedding day. It should be just you and the person measuring in the room. You can always ask if they have a robe (or bring your own) to have on before and after.

If anyone knows of some bridal places (in central florida) please let me know! ::yes::

Congrats on your plans! I got my dress at the Collection Bridal in Winter Park... the store itself is a little pricey, but they do host trunk shows, and have a great selection. A friend of mine got her dress at Minerva's Bridal which is just south of downtown Orlando, I want to say it's on Orange Ave? Her dress was a Maggie Sottero, so I know they carry that line there. Hope this helps!

Hello Wedding Twin!! :)

Just catching up on your PJ!! All of those dresses are beautiful!! I am sure whichever one you decide on will be perfect!!

Congrats on getting your best man!! :thumbsup2
