I dont know if this has ever been done but a poll to see how many males and female are Dis posters. Ill start this thread and start it as the male post if a female will start another thread. I am a Dad with two kids who love disney so I check and post on these boards a bit. Just wandering if there are as many guys or dads as me that are on hte Dis.

Count me as a dad. I also have 2 kids, DD 11, DS almost 16, wants to be an Imagineer ! We were at WDW in August. Myself and the 2 kids are addicts, my wife could take it or leave it ! Can't get her to let us go without her, tho. She hates to fly, so we go about every other year. Have fun !

I'm a mom with a DD that's 11. She and I LOVE Disney. DH is the same as Vanillarum's DW. He'd rather go somewhere else but won't let us go by ourselves.

We're late 50's, I'm the poster, male. Just finished up our 40th trip January 16th, sad to be home. Children all grown, daughter did the college program a few years ago and we went down 3 times that year plus did our first Disney Cruise, best year ever. Couldn't go without wife, loves Disney just as much. We used to drive all the time to WDw, 1150 miles one way, have flown a few times but not my cup of tea, we now use Amtrak to get there which is getting old and tedious, got to rethink travel means, driving again is definetely out so whats left? Guess I might have to get over flying.

Did you know that there is a DIS Dad's club? I recently found out about it when I saw a couple of DISers who had the words "DIS Dad's club" (with a picture of Goofy next to it) in their signature. I don't really know anything specific about it, but if you want to connect with other Dads who love Disney, I'm sure this would be a great thing to check out. One of my DIS friends, NewRocDad, is a member of the club. If you're interested, just PM him and I'm sure he'd be happy to give you more info about it.

I know this has been done on the community board a few times over the past few years.....

A suggestion.....
You could start a poll asking Male or female than as people vote it would
give you an idea of how many.
Just an idea

Sorry! I totally missed that part. Read, tiggerfan1, read! I think that kaylajr has a really good idea, but I'll post a "female DISer" thread anyway. Just so the others understand what's going on, do you mind noting in your original post that you only want male DISers to reply on this thread. I think that will cut down on the confusion. Thanks!
